There are less than 48
hours left for fans to select the MTN8 Last Muso Standing winner. A first in
the tournament, the Last Muso Standing competition provides fans with an
opportunity to select the track they deem worthy of being the MTN8 Wafa
Wafa theme song for the 2013 edition of the tournament.

MTN8 competition it was fitting that we launched a campaign that gives
passionate music and football fans across the country an opportunity to select
a song which resonates with the tournament,” says Serame Taukobong, Chief

“MTN8 is successful
because of the unwavering support of the public. We have embarked on a
nationwide campaign to encourage the masses to decide which track deserves the
title of being the official song of Africa’s richest soccer spectacle.”
To determine the
winner from the Top 8 finalists who produced songs that would capture the
spirit of the MTN8 tournament, voting lines were opened on Wednesday 10th July
and will close at midnight on Sunday, 28th July 2013. The
winning Last Muso Standing will be announced at the launch of the MTN8
competition at the end of July and walk away with a R
250 000.00 cash prize including iPad mini‘s courtesy of MTN.
