Rise Khosi Rise!

I wish we could put aside politic and concentrate on rising as fan, people, management, board of a football club, captain and Amakhosi lovers and make this team the one we know - LOVE and Peace - Amakhiso Amahle- the Phefeni Boys - the most loved team in and out side SA - but mostly a winning team.

I also know and expect such thing to happen - we are human after all including Bobby. And thanks for the chairperson for assuring us that there will be order going forward because all our pride depends on moving forward and definitely wouldn't want to spend a decade like our beloved "champions" sinking a trophy.

Season in season out, all of know that through hard working and a sound management we've never completed without silverware in our pockets, round our necks and trophy for display at Naturena. We can do better than we are at the moment.

To Mr. Motaung - I'd just like to make a point and say what a good prophecy and timing in suggesting that wonderful phrase that keeps me going, that gives me HOPE- through all this difficult times, I'm screaming - RISE KHOSI; RISE....

Khosi 4 LIFE!!!!!

Is Rantie better than Ndulula and Mabena?

Tea-bo Tid says: Hat off for Tukelo Rantie!! Quality young striker whose got confidence and I’m sure Benni McCarthy is proud wherever his sitting now.... phansi Ndumiso Mabena phansi... phansi Bongani 'Drogba' Ndulula phansi... this is how it's done if you not sure watch Tukelo again on Wednesday.

Thabelo Khiba
Ndulula, Mabena, come sit with us at the stands, and take free lessons from Tokelo.

Tea-bo Tido ‎@Thabs
Dankie Juju just imagine a combo of McCarthy and Rantie they both lethal and both hungry for goals and have Bester, Segolela and Klate behind them... damnit... can't wait for Wednesday night we have discovered our spark.

Syanda El Nino Mashila
No offence but let’s wait until he score weekend and week out. But all in all he's promising.

Gcina Prince
Hey guys, I really don’t understand you. Do you really mean to tell me that Ndulula is a bad player all of a sudden? Yes Tokelo scored a super brilliant goal and I was impressed, but we shouldn’t bring other players down. Drogba is a great striker!

Phumzile Fiveskipas Manganye
So true Gcina... but Ndulula still needs month mentorship to gain month confidence at himself to score goals and so I think he will learn a lot from both Benni and Tokelo.

Lydia Gcebile Temantimandze-Bhakajuju
@ Gcina how many games he cost us? Ndulula needs to be loaned out; he does well in the national team, why not do the same at Bucs? He needs to go!

Thabelo Khiba
@ Gcina, Drogba didn’t start today juju, I for one have been complaining about him. He, just like Mayambela are good coming from the bench, they suck big time in the starting 11.

Thabelo Khiba
A great striker doesn’t miss sitters like they are going out of fashion Gcina. I blame the person who gave him Drogba's name, from today he is Nkosinathi Nhleko, hihihihihihi!

Thabo Buccaneer Tboy-Touch HouseMinister
This boy turned down offers from Europe to come and play for Pirates… you could see from a distant he is determined to do the job! We gave both Mabena and Ndulula a chance and they failed… I say we give a fair chance champs!

Gcina Prince
In this match Drogba missed only one clear chance when he tried score an extraordinary goal. Otherwise he was tightly marked because he was a target man. Chansa also missed some good chances but you blaming everything on Drogba - seems like double standards to me.

Tea-bo Tido
@Gcina his being overrated that’s my opinion the boy has been give more than a fair chance and if he was the man he should have showed character today he had plenty of clear chance but to show his quality needs some work... he couldn’t convert even one... all Rantie did was to be a striker and do what he does best which is striking something that Benni McCarthy was talking about when he arrived at the team... strikers should strike while defenders defend... so Ndulula model the whole time while a winger Bester try to help him to score... this is not right Juju lets face it Ndulula needs to earn the title Drogba I'll give that name to Mphela anytime and it will suit him just fine....

Thabelo Khiba
He must start from the bench, give way to Tokelo, Mabena eena, Dr Khoza should use his good relation with Mato Madlala and swap him with Mbesuma in the next window period. Forward with slogan "phansi Mabena phansi, phansi Ndulula phansi". Tea-bo you are killing me.

Lydia Gcebile Temantimandze-Bhakajuju
Phansi... I really don’t mind keeping them company on the stands. Juju's they don’t deserve to be on the bench but on the stands with the rest of them forever happy fans.

Tea-bo Tido
@Phumzile yes he will turnout well only if he can be loaned out and go to these small teams and work on his confidence did u see the confidence in Tokelo when his got the ball? Amazing for someone who’s only played his second game for Pirates yet this determined... Ndulula played more than two even featured in the derby and still lacks confidence I say send him away Jujus like we did with Tlou to Celtic and lets him ready and willing to take the team to the greater heights... for now his a waste of time something we don’t have as Pirates... we want goals then three points is that too much to ask… I’m a proud Pirates supporter but am not going to lie and say Ndulula played well yet he didn’t and hasn’t even tried to show us gore he can... he better start performing or his going to feel the bench for many years to come... we meeting Swallows on Wednesday and Saturday and if Ndulula is going to play then Nomvete and Co. Are going to kill us hands down coz without McCarthy forward we have no threat at all Rantie brought back that... “urgency when we attack” and we need that for our status ''CHAMPIONS''

Lebohang Mufasa Motsoatsoa
Hold your horses people. When Ndulula scored for the first time, he was a star. What makes you convinced that Rantie is good. I mean, it’s his first goal too.

Thabelo Khiba
Tru Lebohang, we praised him, he was given ample chances, and most of the time he failed. He must give way for Tokelo, let’s see what he can offer. I will sing his praises until he gives me reasons not to, though I hope he won’t. Until then "Phambili nge Tokelo aka Zahara Loliwe phambili"

Lydia Gcebile Temantimandze-Bhakajuju
@ Lebohang, u've got a point there Juju but Ndulula was given too many chances and he never proved himself. Let’s give Tukelo a chance as we also gave him a chance. I've got a feeling about him.

Zukile Ndod'emnyama Dengana
As much as I was impressed by Tokelo but I don’t think its good to crucify other players like some of so called supporters are doing to our players.

Tea-bo Tido
@ Zuki we not crucifying but we saying give way for others who are willing to deliver... Ndulula had clear chances that a striker should have buried them away and write his name on the scoring list… the first three balls Rantie got you could see his hungry by how he went forward and the 4th one he made no mistake and punish Cosmos if it was our very own Ndulula or Mabena they we going to try to do the impossible with the ball and end up losing it… I say let those who are willing to score for the team do so… those bois got fair chance and failed to prove themselves now they must make way...

Thank You Sundowns supporters

Well done Masandawana!!! But let me talk more about the supporters. You know in Naturena things are very bad with some of the well known travellers stayed away from yesterday game. They are trying to boycott their games.

However, come to Sechaba sa my Brazilian, Bafana ba ko Pitoli. You would say they are Pirates supporters; if you were outside the stadium, the way be ba thabile ka teng. But come inside the western side of Lotus you would be welcomed by many fans wearing 'yellows'.

Ba bina ka monate and dancing ntate all around ka re ke ma Sokolara. Awa ! Who said it is only Masokolara and Pirates to cheer their players. That was the true supporters of Masandawana. We do not surrender or give up!!!

It is something needs to be thanks and encouraged and should not be ignored. You know ke ba bon ba bina facing bo Thomas, those who like to seat down full of disbelief ka re ba ko graveyard be tletsi le de complains.

Le bona had no alternative but ba thoma to clap and sing in support of the team and guess what fire and vibe was all around. I was very impressed about that kind of support especially emanated around the small but strong group of drumbeaters.

The drums tsa bona de na le rhythm e monate. Well done ma Sandawana. 5-1 is a good moral booster and we are going to see more goals coming from our strikers in future.

Bobby needs to apologise not Kaizer

To the Kaizer Chiefs Management:

Mr. Motaung Senior, your apology is accepted.

However, Bobby is the one who insulted us as supporters and I therefore believe that the only appropriate apology should come from Bobby himself. I respect you as an elder Mr. Kaizer Motaung and for the empire you have built which is Kaizer Chiefs.

Bobby will take this team to ruins if he continues to make comments in the media because clearly he naturally doesn’t have anything positive to say when he opens his mouth. The last I remember we had a PRO of whom I thought is the appropriate person to address the media about events taking place in Naturena... what happened to him?

I remember a couple of years ago (I think 2006), Bobby asked the supporters “Who's team is Chiefs?” in a very arrogant manner. Now this again? I can’t believe this. Bobby is taking us for granted and he thinks Kaizer Chiefs supporters are all miners and hostel dwellers. This time around 'uyinyathele emsileni' we will protest until he apologise. Enough is enough about this guy.

Would you please do us a favour, fire the coach (Vladimir Vermezovic) and your son, Bobby Motaung, the manager and reinstate Jimmy Tau as the team Captain.

Until then we do not intend of going to watch the team play live and be the 12th man. The players need our moral support and we need to watch happy players who are willing to die for the team. They can't do that with Gaddafi at the helm.

Thank you.

Thidielas don’t have a bigger picture

ONE WOULD HAVE EXPECTED the Thidielas to have learnt from their previous mistakes, but with the firing of Sunday Chidzambwa, one realises that once you own a spaza shop you can never develop it into a super retailer.

Granted, Chidzambwa had a poor start, however, that was the case in the same National First Division campaign that saw them win promotion... this just proves that, it is traditional with that family to make decisions based on sentiments, they do not have the bigger picture in sight.

BUT, when one thinks about it, the Thidielas aren’t running solo in this emotional madness, for example, right here, on this forum (Pure Football Experts........), there’s a certain group of self-acclaimed experts with a click dominated sound in their speech that acts and thinks like the Thidielas.

SAFA has repeatedly made the same mistakes of firing and firing, yet some patheticians still want to continue with that nonsense... I say, they are no different to BLACK LEOPARDS.

Dear Kaizer Chiefs (A letter from anonymous)

This letter has been written by a staunch Kaizer Chiefs supporter and they have asked to remain anonymous.

Dear Kaizer Chiefs

This letter might come across as somewhat emotional. To a huge extent, it is. This is because I was raised as a supporter of this team. I’ve actually been a supporter since this club was about 15 years old. I’m now grown and have my own family who supports The Mighty Amakhosi. I came to love this club dearly. This team became like that sweetheart you’ve known from day one you will grow up and raise a beautiful happy family with.

For many years, I was very happy with my sweetheart. I knew what to expect and when they made me sad by losing certain matches, I was quick to forgive, because we all make mistakes in life.

Of late though, with all the drama-taking place off the field and not much in the way of fireworks ON the field, I find myself wondering how much longer I can keep loving you. At times it feels as though the players have lost their passion to play for the club. It’s a big club I understand and of course it is also a career for them and they would always be looking to garner better opportunities especially an overseas move as we all do in our respective places of employment. It’s part of being ambitious.

My problem comes when I see a player who is STILL donning the Black and Gold, treating it as a meal ticket. This is the reason I do not bother going to the stadium anymore. I’m never guaranteed a win, let alone an entertaining match because there is not much of a team or unity on the pitch anymore. Lehlohonolo Majoro was a star and I don’t see that confidence at Chiefs. Bernard Parker was regarded as our very own Benni, I’m still waiting for those goals.

Reneilwe Letsholonyane seems like his head is elsewhere these days. Shabba (Siphiwe Tshabalala) has become selfish in the box in trying to be noticed.

Itumeleng Khune my new Captain whom I have no faith in, has been making some serious schoolboy blunders. Jimmy Tau and Josta Dladla are being left on the sideline. It’s a mess.

Then comes the club management. Oh my where does one start here. I’ve lived through many scandals at the team, yet I’ve always loved and appreciated the manner in which the club respected us as supporters. Yes every club spins what’s happening internally, that’s why there’s PROs. BUT, when even a Deaf man can tell that he’s being lied to and blatantly disrespected by those he holds in high esteem, then it’s balls to the walls.

This now becomes an emotionally abusive relationship, not one built on mutual respect and honesty. Bobby has treated us supporters like immature, unintelligent children for far too long. He’s not building on his father’s legacy, not even thinking about the Motaung’s to come after him. All he cares about is to dress suave, be seen as Bob Steak, the man with money and not the man who runs his fathers club like the mighty team it is. I’m often embarrassed by his short sightedness.

Yes defend your team, but don’t EVER believe us to be morons because without US idiotic supporters buying tickets, buying team jerseys and watching the team’s matches, even big clubs like Kaizer Chiefs fall. It might not happen tomorrow, but carry on disrespecting us and we’ll see how big the viewership on your team’s matches become.

I am hurt, disgusted and saddened by how mediocre my team is becoming ON and OFF the field. Besides Cups, we haven’t tasted a league win since 2004/05. This season, since we’ve decided not to defend our TKO title, that’s it for us in terms of trophies. We will never win the Nedbank Cup because that has historically been like trying to find a rich man Khanyi Mbau would not sleep with. Winning the league with all this drama is another big joke.

In closing. I love you Kaizer Chiefs but my days with you before I hit the divorce court, are numbered. I’ve lost faith in you. I look at you with questioning eyes instead of unwavering love. I worry about us. I’m not going to tell you how to, but please go back to being the Mighty team I love unapologetically.

Sincerely
Your soon to be ex supporter

I don’t care cos I don’t even own 2% at Chiefs

Bobby Motaung was out of line but personally I don't even care. I can't doubt myself as a supporter because of what he said, I didn't even know him when I started supporting Kaizer  Chiefs so he's the last person I should worry about.

Having said that, he was addressing those who are calling for his resignation, I didn't coz I don't even have 2% powers to do that. I don't even know his job description and that tells you me the last person to call for his head.

I've learnt to be calm in every situation and that’s why I laughed when I heard what he said while people are frustrated and doubting their position in a Khosi family.

Chiefs is a family business, this was not the first time I hear this, I've heard from the same fans who are hurting today and me still going to hear it.

But nah he was disrespectful, he must know that there are fans who are even much older than him, as a public manager, that's not the way to address people.

Can Amabhakabhaka field Mhlongo, Jali and Manyisa all at once?

Zamile Educated-Thug Selepe says: To accommodate Mayanga (Benson Mhlongo) a 4-3-3 System is suitable. Keep the back four as it is. Then Mayanga plays as a central defensive midfielder with Andile Jali and Oupa Manyisa as right and left central midfielders. Benni McCarthy as centre forward, Rudolf Bester and Isaac Chansa as left and right strikers respectively. In the second half you can always revert to either a 4 - 5 1 or the now defunct 4 - 4 -2.

Thulani Mthombeni-Five Skhibhas Sparks
No wingers??? Tlou??? Klate???

Zamile Educated-Thug Selepe
Jali and Manyisa as right and left central midfielders... that will see a different Thugacated formation and I believe the Chansa, Benni and Bester combination upfront can bear so many goals.

'Sibabalo 'Abenathi
I propose Mhlongo should be in second half in place of any underperforming defensive midfielder. Packing the midfield limits the attack. It makes you stay at the back more. I've noticed that our central defenders are careless sometimes and attack a lot like the r/l backs leaving Manyisa and Jali to clear up the mess since Cloete is involved in the attack but we can't risk having a park-a-bus. Let’s sometimes change Jali and Manyisa. Also Mayanga is not guaranteed to play a full game, he must get there slowly and settle coz if we hurry him, it'll be just like another Lucas Thwala issue

Thulani Mthombeni-Five Skhibhas Sparks
Segolela – Jali – Manyisa – Klate – Chansa – Benni... Nami I agree with Sibabalo packing the centre will limit our options... The Brazilian system is winger-less, but at Pirates wingers are our best option... for Mhlongo to play either Jali or Manyisa must sit out as I don’t see all three playing at the same time... I think Chansa, Mayambela and Talatou will fight for the last spot... so much depth we have.

Zamile Educated-Thug Selepe
Well said champs... I was just thinking but I understand your points.

Thulani Mthombeni-Five Skhibhas Sparks
@ Educated in your system we will have: Josephs – Jele – Cloete – Sangweni – Legwathi – Mayanga – Jali – Manyisa – Bester  -Chansa - Benni... Using wingbacks Jele and Cloete to exploit the wings in the same way that Cafu and Roberto Carlos use to do for the Brazilians in the olden days... Mhlongo will do what a Dunga or Gilberto used to do... its an interesting system but I guess it lacks fluidity especially in counter-attacks... in the modern game I think it should at times take a few seconds to turn defence to attack... none of the guys are speedy enough... good point though!

Delani Patrick van Maphela
There's no suitable formation than the Xmas tree formation 4 -3-2-1, especially if you want to attack through the middle!

Isaac No More Sithole
Bucs fans have football brains. That’s why soccer was made eOrlando... football 101... University of Orlando... to be a Juju is a calling.

Thabelo Khiba
I disagree with you Juju; let Mayanga gain his fitness coming from the bench. We are very strong on both wings, so please Juju, don't temper with our wing play asseblief.

How old is Bobby Motaung?

Entlek how old is Bobby Motaung? He is so arrogant and proud. He says he did not apply with a CV as if applying for a job with a CV is for lower-class people.

This is why a person should get educated and get training for a job, so you can learn how to conduct yourself to your supporters/customers, NOT just to be handed a job by virtue of being family member.

There are many QUALIFIED people out there who can actually apply for that job with a CV and do a better job than Bobby.

Your father would've never built the Kaizer Chiefs brand to be what it is today without the support of Kaizer Chiefs' fans, hence they're called SUPPORTERS!!!

You spoilt rich brat! You should get life lessons so you can learn to be humble.

Message to Vladimir Vermezovic

As one of the millions of Kaizer Chiefs Supporters, I would like you to know that I appreciate the good work you have done since you joined the team three years ago. I can only imagine how hot the seat you are occupying is.

You came to the team after four years of frustration and misery, thanks to your predecessors, Muhsin Ertugral and Ernst Middendor! You came in when most of us had been used to our team drawing and loosing games left, right and centre.

Under your leadership, our team changed the style of play that is still envied by many. You have done so with limited resources as u are still to be provided with Highly Expensive Ammunition.

Instead, in the first two years at the Mount Molotof, you have won and defended the Telkom Cup which unfortunately, we won't be defending this season. In the last two seasons at the club, we have finished in third position consistently.

As individuals, we all have weaknesses; we all have bad days in office. We are all at one stage or another, often misunderstood or unfairly judged. Thanks to you we still own The Soweto Derby Bragging Rights as we last lost to our Rivals in May 2009 (Premier Soccer League games).

It is therefore, for those reasons, that I openly and unconditionally give you my 100% support!!

Yours in Support.

Too many parties at Bucs camp?

'Sibabalo 'Abenathi says: Pirates ship a party cruise - Some players have turned the players' residence in Buccleugh, Johannesburg, into a party haven. WARNING: Bucs boss Irvin Khoza said “They will want to come back to us, beg and blame us when they are beggars on the streets”

FULL STORY: http://goo.gl/VRmk3

Gcina Prince
Eish, somebody stop this. This is not Orlando Pirates style. We don’t need this kind of publicity if we are to succeed.

Thulani Masondo
This is very bad cos I’m one of those who is unable to eat food if my team has lost a game, but my players don’t see anything wrong with that, I don’t want to believe it. Somebody please call them to order.

Lungelo Malunga Mbhele
Please this must be stopped and we must know these players, cos they are doing very wrong thing which will cost us many things as a team.

Thando Ngidi Juju Lokuqina
That is bullshit if they don’t want to play for Pirates they must ship out and see how long they going to last in their football careers nx!! *angry*

Thabelo Khiba
I don’t believe this; in fact I don’t trust this news (Sowetan). These journos are just trying too hard to destabilise us.

Luzuko Tshingana
Whatever nonsense the media says will be believed only by those who hate us… they are just trying to dig deep into finding why we have been dropping points and they came with this nonsense. All the players do party and am sure it is not that bad as they make it out to be… now that the so called big teams are struggling and have been booted out of the TKO they will look for something for us to focus on.

They can go to hell…it's a fact we have had many games than others and there might be other important reasons why we have been doing badly in the league... if, however, this is true... it has to be stopped and Julio Leal must just do what Ruud Krol did and treat them all equal... there are no stars at Pirates… you f!ck up, you are gone, period.

Ashley Mzolo
I just hope the team comes clean about this. We don’t want the damage control mentality i.e. Kaizer Chiefs and Jimmy Tau. It was denied only to find out it’s the truth. We are stakeholders in this game. Without us the game is dead. We have a tendency of blaming the media forgetting that "where there's smoke there's fire. Mickey must tell us the truth. Name & shame the players. We sacrifice a lot for this team. Our time, our lives, our money. We deserve to be respected. This team is about a legacy. People have sacrificed for this team to be where it is today. I just wonder how much has Mr. Irvin Khoza has spent on this team. I wish they get to the bottom of this.

'Sibabalo 'Abenathi
True man, they quoted Dr. Khoza. Which to me is a bit alarming and remember the same Sowetan kept talking about Teko Modise's off-form is due to parting and sleeping late with arrogance to stop even when married and the iron duke was quoted saying Teko's got problems. I hope this just goes away. Teko's wife was accepted for trauma a month ago now they're divorced etc etc.

Isaac No More Sithole
No no no no... I.... can’t believe this...since when Pirates player got ill-discipline?

Phumzile Fiveskipas Manganye
True that Ash, there is no fire without smoke... yes the story might have been spiced up a bit, but the truth is they are having celebration parties time and again hence Happy Jele pointed out that they celebrated their victory and forgot to concentrate on the rest of their matches... well I say they should shape up before its to late for them too.

Lebohang Mufasa Motsoatsoa
I believe the story. I warned that these players are changing. Look at Andile Jali, Thulasizwe Mbuyane has been a gossiper. It’s obvious some players don’t like this partying. Leal is not strict and this will be our downfall. Can he be brave enough to axe those ill-disciplined?

Chiefs players must stop this nonsense and act like professionals

I think as South African supporters but mainly with the top three (Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns), we get to the point of NEVER accepting defeat!!! EVER! This is football.

These things happen. How can after every loss people storm onto Facebook and Twitter and just start shouting for the coach's head?

I mean we dare not point any fingers at the likes of Nale right? The guy gets a chance to prove himself. Sure you can say this and that about his spirit bla bla bla... but if he is a professional he should prove us wrong. And from what we saw on Sunday (Kaizer Chiefs 1-2 Platinum Stars)... yesuss that guy has to be one of the biggest flops who looked so promising!

I was just thinking about how disappointing it is being knocked out of the second competitive cup of the season. Technically the last two cups up for grabs for us are the most difficult! The league is such a long-race.

The players need to sort this off-field nonsense out and act like professionals. I don't mind if we lose when we show a lot of passion and spirit. But the players seem to be so PAP. Lucky Baloyi and a few others are coming to the party but there are some guys who look like they could not be bothered to be on the field?!

Gonna be a very interesting next month for the Khosi Family. Sadly I have a feeling VV is starting to pack his bags slowly but surely. Sadly!

Congrats Khune for being named captain

Let me congratulate Itumeleng Khune for his appointment as a new captain of Kaizer Chiefs. People may judge him but one thing I know is that he is a man who grabs opportunities by both hands.

We were in crisis when Rowen Fernandez left us but Muhsin Ertugral threw this young man in the deep end and he said thank you! And never disappointed, since then he never looked back.

He's been our pillar of strength, a soldier who always picks himself up and perform after disappointing. Never likes to be on a losing side, a true Khosi.

The second opportunity he grabbed was that of Bafana Bafana, I don't remember when and how he got it but today we say he is Mzansi's finest and we are proud for producing such a talent for our national team.

I know some are doubting you, but it's understandable because you've been a captain before. I also don't know you as a captain but one I know is you can never be a great leader without being given a platform to lead.

You've been through a lot, you've been heavily criticized but you always rise up and prove us wrong and for that reason I believe you will make a good captain.

It won't he easy but I know you are one man who has ambitions therefore you will fight.

Bravo Itu!

Should Sundowns stop the monthly awards?

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Clayton Daniels scooped the top award for the month of September 2011 at the monthly prize giving held at the club headquarters in Chloorkop.

First Prize – Clayton Daniels
Second place – Hlompho “The Rock” Kekana
Third place – Elias “Majaivane” Pelembe
Special recognition – Themba Zwane

However, some of the Sundowns fans didn’t take these news well;

Moremi Martin
Motsepe should stop rewarding mediocrity. If the team doesn’t do well no incentives should be given period.

Njobo Sifiso Dlamini
He must be given even in October... well done Daniels!

Mandla Shakes Madumisa
What has Daniels and Hlompo done? It’s exactly things like these that spoil players. They just arrived have not made any significant contribution, on the other side Pelembe plays with injury and score goals he performs throughout and what does he get? Mxm! Useless people, you running this club done at the speed of light.

Izek Mampana
Awards for what? These fools have succeeded in making our team a joke of the town!

Lesiba Lekalakala
He deserves it, well done boy!!

S'fiso Memela
This Motsepe of ours people is throwing his money like nobody's business and I don't have a problem with that cos it’s his money, but the thing is a team's performance is pathetic on other hand but still they being awarded.

Musawenkosi Ndlovu
No offence to Daniels... but no one at Sundowns deserves a medal or any recognition for that matter... this month or the next if they continue with such horrendous performances.

Mandla Shakes Madumisa
Really I think I need to take a break from Sundowns and South African football at large this is embarrassing, insult they deserve nothing except handwork and winning games.

Danny Otega Mojalefa
Motsepe spoil those players but they play nothing… why Swallows beat us 3:0? Haibo maan!

Jackson Rapoo Baracks
Busy giving award that’s KAK we want WIN thats why they are so SPOILT they must be HUNGRY 4 EVERYTHNG. *not happy nxa*

Sobuntu Ntombela
No defender deserves a prize according to me! 3-0 loss 2 a team we beat 4-0??? And you still give them prizes! Who is going to work hard?

Mahlaba Marvin
Majaivane deserves it not Daniels, what has he done so far at Sundowns? Mxm they are spoiled, all we need is to win games, awards without any silverware is nothing!

Kamogelo Mase Wa Mokori
Next time you will tell us Marlin scoop da best goalkeeper award. hai man stop these awards thing coz these cows made us a laughing stock. nxa but anyway yellow I'll remain until Jimmy Tau become zebra captain again.

Molefi Mokwena Molamu Livo
People are rewarded for their effort and achievements, these players they should be ashamed or it’s just a formality. KABO YELLO!

Kaelo Emang
The boy deserve da reward big time, guys lets put the past behind and focus @ da future and stop pointing fingers to the coach, right now they need our support!

Sthembiso S-t Mkhasibe
Those awards are suppose to encourage those bunch of lazy players but its the opposite, so basically there is no need of this.

Coach-Paul Tsimo
Motsepe let's concentrates more on building n achieving as a team n suspend individual awards becos da team is loosing•Fix da team first den individual awards

Qiniso Sboniso Zulu
How do you take a special recognition blah blah blah awards... while nothing is being done… on the field not even winning... simple matches... this is F!CKED-UP!

Bongani Mahlalela
It’s a disgrace; we are now celebrating mediocrity just like Bafana Bafana. In all fairness no one deserves any accolades. They play as a team and they flopped as a team. This guy is just spending like crazy, should have freezed this month's ceremony. It’s a shame on my beloved outfit, Oh God save me from this circus!

Gerald Bob Munhuwa
Ya for sure we were just got humiliated by Swallows and you award them, why not donate that money, these guys play rubbish and are recognised, that is why they have no will to win coz kufana win or lose imali iyangena, hayi suka, instead give us a refund for going to that game.

Joshua Mj Sibbs
Special recognition, now that’s a big joke with the whole team not winning game. I wonder who votes for those players for those 'so called' awards

Phineas Basaya
I don't think anyone at Sundowns deserve to be awarded, the only people who deserve this it's us supporters as we die for this club we spend our hard earn money and they are thanking us by EMBARASING us, so until they are ready to play for the club this awards must be stopped for a while.

Msandy GP Dlamini
Mr. Motsepe should stop these awards coz the players don’t bother if they win or lose they know at de end they would get their salary. We use our hard earned money yoh madoda just imagine coming from Swaziland to find out that the players are not serious *so sad*

Is Vermezovic the problem at Chiefs?

Gilbert Mbedzi Matimbi Luvhimbi says: I’m no longer going to the stadium until Vladimir Vermezovic resigned as a head coach, Mr. Chairman don’t you think its time for Donald “Ace” Khuse and Arthur Zwaneto be head coaches of the team in the remainder of the season? VV never won a league and its not promising that he will anytime soon, he fails to defend the Telkom Knockout, what’s next?

Senwamadi Sir-Me Sammy
@ Gilbert, how many sitters did VV miss on Sunday (Kaizer Chiefs 1-2 Platinum Stars)? Was it he who told Tshabalala to blast over the posts? Did he make those stray passes? How many one-on-one chances did he fail to convert? Hands off the coach. These players must step up or Bobby must go to the market and invest in quality. Our strike force sucks, period!!!

Gilbert Mbedzi Matimbi Luvhimbi
@sir-me, players are there and coach needs to rest some other guys like Tshabalala, there players who can make us proud like the team that won Macufe Cup; those boys are hungry and I think it is that time they get game time, and we never won a game where we started with Nengomasha, Baloyi and Yeye.

Sithembele Sterror Siko
Guys I understand where Gilbert is coming from and let us not attack him he's raising his views, as for blaming VV. I think it all goes down to how he treats players and he's been here for two seasons now, but he looks clueless and doesn't have plan b that's my opinion.

Senwamadi Sir-Me Sammy
I think you will realise that coaching is a tough job. Had he started with those youngsters and we lost, we'd all be lambasting him for benching experienced players. Unfortunately, coaching is very subjective. It's what you think and feel that pushes you in certain directions. The problem at Chiefs is Bobby. He needs to learn that managing a soccer team is not like managing a construction company. We need a Quality striker and a Leader in defense. How do you replace Musona and Nahayo with Majoro and Mashamaite? Crazy, if you ask me.

Chicco Tivane
All this views of great fans of Chiefs are they going to reach our management or just a talk. Please Bobby must indeed do something.

Mpho Sebola
Tactically, the coach is failing... you can have all great players in the world but if the coach is clueless that will amount to nothing. As much as soccer is based on individual brilliance and talent but players have to stick to the coach's game plan based on the team he select for the day... unfortunately if there's no trust & motivation between players and coach. We won't see any good results anytime soon... It's like Khosi wins by chances

Sithembele Sterror Siko
He failed to sign Sangweni saying he's expensive but they managed to bring Parker from overseas, Bobby usijwayela kabi nxxx! Couldn't agree more with you Mpho on that one... well said ndoda!

Senwamadi Sir-Me Sammy
I would like to differ a bit with you Mpho, unless tactical means something different to you. Our tactics are sound and we are one of the most attacking teams in the PSL (stats don't lie). We just fail to score. In all the games we lost this season, we had more goals scoring opportunities than the opposition, Our ball possession and territorial play is tops, Our defenders fail us by making stupid mistakes and our strikers don't score. You can't create more than 20 goal scoring chances in a game and only convert 1. That, I think is a disgrace. Not by the coach but, the players.

Shaheedmo Göokoma
How do you sack a coach when Majoro does his usual of missing golden opportunities? How do you sack the coach when Baloyi doesn’t see value in chasing the ball? VV was rated the top coach in SA and we will lose a brilliant coach thanks to stupid fans.

Gilbert Mbedzi Matimbi Luvhimbi
@ shaheedmo,  Khosi fans don't insult one another we are love and peace how can you call other fans stupid? If you disagree just raise your facts so that other fans may see it in that way, "Peace MaKhosi Peace"

Shaheedmo Göokoma
Peace and sorry perhaps that was not the best phrase, its just that so much is at stake. I love my team with my all my heart and I know we have the best coach. Our players are just lazy, over paid celebrity want to bees. That's just my own opinion. There is not much hunger in SA.

Shaheedmo Göokoma
Don't raise your voice, improve your argument :-) Peace and Love!!

Victor Keketi Mouth
Guys going after the Coach is not the solution, there is so much football to come, we where just unlucky on the day but as fans we have to rally behind the team, this is the same coach that took the Telkom twice, rise Khosi rise, we are above this we win some we lose some.

We are quick to ask for the coach’s head

One of the drawbacks with our soccer is that we are impatient with coaches. I’m a great believer in letting coaches do their job until their contract run out (unless a team is a relegation candidate after 15 games) without interference from management or the fans.

Look at Gavin Hunt, if SuperSport United had as many supporters as Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates, he would have been fired last season... as fans would have demanded his resignation over the poor performances.

Ruud Krol was given two years and he only got it right in the third year... and until the last game of the season, some fans were demanding his resignation. Dr. Irvin Khoza should have kept Krol, but now that Julio Leal is here... he should also be given a chance.

As for Black Leopards, they should keep their coach... they should measure their success (or lack of) on the quality of the playing staff that they have... the Premier Soccer League is a very different proposition from Mvela.

They should just ask their coach to make sure they finish above position 15. Changing their coach now will only make things worse. As for Vladimir Vermezovic, I would never call for his head… no matter how unfavourable the results are. I will only judge him on the last day of the season.

Masandawana where did we go wrong?

Good Morning Masandawana, the bruises of last night still hurts... I feel this is the team's page (Mamelodi Sundowns FC) where we can post our grievances, motivation and value to our team... I have a question that I would like to have its answers

Masandawana where did we go wrong? Is it the coaches we have hired the past seasons?
  • It is the management?
  • Or the players?
  • Or it’s us the supporters?

What is it that is needed for our team to deliver good results? Will changing coaches now and then help us?

Do we have players that are worthy playing for downs''?

We have been disappointed it’s enough; we need answers from all the stakeholders. I THANK YOU ALL MASANDAWANA HAVE A GUD DAY!

Vermezovic is failing Amakhosi big time

Vivian (Vladimir Vermezovic) has succeeded in his plan to destroy Abia “Mkhuthuzi” Nale, the boy is out and finished; pity seeing the players not going 100% and willing to die for the club.

On Sunday we learnt that our captain Jimmy Tau was no longer our captain. WHAT is this Vladimir Vermezovic??

Vivian has no relationship with the players and now I know and see that it’s true that he (Vladimir Vermezovic) is a monster, a dictator and very stubborn.

What the hell you play one lone striker and put three centre players at the same time and Tinashe Nengomasha can’t lead us. As long as VV got the support from many Orlando Pirates supporters who claim to be Kaizer Chiefs sons and daughters we must forget about winning anything this season.

Vermezovic’s game plan is wack since we started this season. The whole team lack consistence and that will cost us dearly. Now only the Nedbank Cup and Absa Premier Soccer League that are left though the league is a race and with this win, lose, and draw results matches this is going to be our dry season.

Honestly speaking whosoever came with the Rise Khosi Rise slogan was drunk. I’m so tired of shouting Rise Khosi Rise hence there's no rising. I don’t support this period and something need to be done very soon.

If you think it is the players, the management must buy new players, but I tell you the truth let Vivian go and Chiefs will win the remaining cups on offer. Khosi For Life!

Sundowns needs a new goalkeeper?

Mamelodi Sundowns FC says: It does not need a qualified soccer analyst or a scientist to conclude that goalkeeping errors contributed most to our terrible loss on Saturday night (Mamelodi Sundowns 0-3 Moroka Swallows). To put it straight, something needs to be done as far as our goalkeeping department is concerned. Let’s hope our technical staff will take serious caution!!! About this or else we will face further embarrassments because of poor goalkeeping.

Seipatl Ladyc Seleoane
We not only blame the keeper but the whole team. We played as if we just came back 4rm relegation. Let’s hope that r technical team takes caution vele. Something needs 2 be dun ASAP… this can’t continue any longer.

Njabulo Siyaya
Seriously I hope it was the last time I saw him in Downs goals. He is a moemish in the team.

El Pipita
Where was Musa Nyatama? This coach must leave also; Mphela is selfish, now I know why he didn’t make it in Europe!

Njobo Sifiso Dlamini
Awu! We don’t have a goalkeeper please Sundowns do something about the goalkeeper department.

Samkelo Maphalala
The goalkeepers are nonsense, the defenders are finished, the midfield is rotten, the strikers are rubbish, the coach is foolish and the whole team is doomed.

Quiet Mpofu
Why did Johan start the match with Khenyeza, Moriri and Marlin…this man is a loser. Fire the coach cos he is messing our club. Mushekwi must start and Nyatama must also start.

Lemogang Gadiiphiwe Masilo
We are coming next week at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe stadium for a game between Mamelodi Sundowns and Black Leopards - security or security Marlin and Neskeens we need your blood julle gaan moer wees julle kaak they kill our team.

Sdiliya 'Sdie' Bala
This is uncalled for, I don't think you are right by publicly criticizing one department, I think the whole team should take a blame. You are lowering the confidence of our goalkeepers. The strikers failed as well, I personally feel that we as supporters don't need to see such comments about our team. Discuss these matters behind the closed doors; we need not to hear them on facebook.

Spayce Lucky-Mthiyane
There's nothing to be discussed at close doors, Calvin Marlin and his defence were a pile kaaak in a pitch! Klaar!

Akekh Zikhali
That is true but to add on the way forward I stress we must create chances and convert them into goals. Hey not forgetting good entertaining football.

Mzamo Biyela S
As far as we can blame Marlin, but Sundowns doesn't play good football to create more clear cut chances, Modise, Moriri and this Kekana are just a waste. If we carry on with them we gonna lose all our games. And the least said about Khenyeza the better. Khenyeza is useless. Mxm.

Sifiso Kabinde
I'm just disappointed, clueless coaches who know nothing about Sundowns r killing us. Just look at our starting eleven, the coach is simply saying to us “lets hope for the best" and that's rubbish to us the supporters.

Ntethelelo Ndwandwe
Very very poor goalkeeping, even a goalkeeper from our women team can do better than this but hey I’m getting use to go to bed with a broken heart. That’s Sundowns for me.

Ndalelo Takatshana
Not only goalkeeper… why coach put Xulu on the bench, Mwanjali is useless he is not leading by example, midfield Moriri is defensive or offensive because his role is not clear... our strikers are out of form why we can’t try Shongwe... another cup has gone and it seems another season with out cup. Mr. Motsepe must forget about cups as long as he is still using Trott Moloto and Makhanya to run the team... some Downs players are playing for Sundowns because of money no fighting spirit no commitment just bunch of useless players… we supporters are losing by buying expensive t-shirt and traveling to stadiums... Sundowns is useless!

Kleinbooi Podile
People don't blame Marlin alone, what happened to our strikers? Remember we didn't score any goal and we had good middle field but Cheeseboy wasn't there.

Thembinkosi Dayile
I just think the coach needs to sit down with his players and talk man to man with them everybody say their say come out there with one unit that can never be shaken like that again its not difficult we are making it look difficult . We are good no dawut about it. It just that we need to put together.

Zane' Mlali
If you blame Marlin for this game jy praat kak, Tsutsulupa received the ball and controlled it were were the defenders? The second goal; these stupid defenders were ball watching for defenders they couldn’t handle Lerato but yet you still blame Marlin? Yes the 3rd goal I blame him, tell me were was Mphela? When last did Mphela contribute in the team? All what he do is to stand upfront and wait for the ball when he gets the ball he waste it! Aaaaag these players are not serious, they just play for Sundowns to get money they are not the for the love of the club, but money, we are the onces who said Marlin must be given a chance now all of a sudden we blame him. Stop trying to point fingers at Marlin as all our players are not fighting for the club and they are not serious and Marlin did nothing wrong, we can even buy Cassilas with our defenders he can be useless as well.

Bongile Xanduva Mat-War
Let me point fingers now; Coach for playing Marlin instead of Sandilands. Marlin for conceding stupid goals, I mean all three of them. Kekana for missing clear chances, Coach again for playing Khenyeza - the guy doesn’t deserve a starting line up. Pele-Pele is the only player who is serious about football bonke abanye badiniwe.

Sibusiso S'bu Rantsoabe
Even Sandilands have been disappointing but Marlin took it to another level. Something is wrong with how our team line up; we are very open in the midfield. The coach need to keep it simple our players are not good enough for these complicated systems. But Masandawana let us chill; we can't be changing coaches all the time. But these foreign coaches talks too much when they arrive here and builds our hopes, Neeskens promised us heaven and earth.

Siyavuya Ntabeni
You know sometimes we need to be soccer supporters and put ourselves and coaches shoes we push the coach all over a true fan will look at the game and know why we lost or won a game not judge individuals. Looking at the team yesterday when we were losing 2-0 the coach introduced an inexperienced Zwane to me that was a wake up call that the coach is building what u call future again judge les and concentrate. Look at Barca I only knew Iniesta, Xavi, Pique maybe three years back they were groomed slowly where is Puyol he gave an opportunity to the young ones cause he was just there to marshal the team until they gain experience now they have it. So Sundowns even if they lose ten I don't care because I can see the direction they are going and I support neeskens and will always support the guy. We were quiet when Henry Michel sad all Sundowns players can't play football now u have a coach who respect player and supporters all u do is pay him with disrespect
