Should Sundowns stop the monthly awards?

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Clayton Daniels scooped the top award for the month of September 2011 at the monthly prize giving held at the club headquarters in Chloorkop.

First Prize – Clayton Daniels

Second place – Hlompho “The Rock” Kekana

Third place – Elias “Majaivane” Pelembe

Special recognition – Themba Zwane

However, some of the Sundowns fans didn’t take these news well;

Motsepe should stop rewarding mediocrity. If the team doesn’t do well no incentives should be given period.

Njobo Sifiso Dlamini

He must be given even in October... well done Daniels!

Mandla Shakes Madumisa

What has Daniels and Hlompo done? It’s exactly things like these that spoil players. They just arrived have not made any significant contribution, on the other side Pelembe plays with injury and score goals he performs throughout and what does he get? Mxm! Useless people, you running this club done at the speed of light.

I don't think anyone at Sundowns deserve to be awarded, the only people who deserve this it's us supporters as we die for this club we spend our hard earn money and they are thanking us by EMBARASING us, so until they are ready to play for the club this awards must be stopped for a while.

Mr. Motsepe should stop these awards coz the players don’t bother if they win or lose they know at de end they would get their salary. We use our hard earned money yoh madoda just imagine coming from Swaziland to find out that the players are not serious *so sad*
