Wednesday, November 12

Golden Arrows v Ajax Cape Town
Venue: King Zwelithini
Isikhathi: 15:30
Preview: Abafana Bes'thende (The Backheel Boys) will be gunning for vengeance after they got smashed 3-1 in the Telkom Knockout Cup on Sunday by an energetic Urban Warriors side. Ajax planned well for Arrows who were said it will be a hard team to beat this season… especially after beating the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns with heavy score lines. Now Manqoba Mngqithi faces Graig Rosslee yet again in no less than 3 days after his team was out classed in Cape Town. One wonders how Arrows will approach this game especially that it’s at their KRAAL.
Prediction: draw

AmaZulu v Bloemfontein Celtic
Venue: Princess Magogo Stadium
Isikhathi: 15:30
Preview: Usuthu are coming back from a 3-0 humiliation from struggling Amakhosi in their last Premier League game. Clive Barker then told the media that if he doesn’t win the League with Amazulu… he will retire. One really wonders what Barker was smoking when he told the media that. While Phunya Sele Sele destroyed their chances of collecting their first maximum points against Moroka Swallows when they failed to defend their 2 goal lead, which saw the Dube Birds coming back twice to level the game. Mich D'Avray and Clive Barker are two coaches who are under pressure to deliver for both their fans and managers!
Prediction: win for AmaZulu

Orlando Pirates v Platinum Stars
Venue: Johannesburg Stadium
Isikhathi: 19:30
Preview: Ezimnyama Ngenkani (The black ones) are starting to look good these days and you can’t take away their brilliant performance against Moroka Swallows in the Telkom Knockout Cup on Saturday night. Ruud Krol seems to have found the formation upfront that can get Bucs the GOALS, but now he needs to fix the defence. Coming back from a 3-2 win during the weekend is good news… especially that they face a very confident Stars team… who won their last league game 4-1 against stressed Santos. It’s a game that will be determined by the team who scores more goals than the other.
Prediction: win for Pirates

SuperSport United v Kaizer Chiefs
Venue: Super Stadium
Isikhathi: 19:30
Preview: Matsatsantsa (The Swanky Boys) are coming back from a dismal defeat in the Telkom Knockout Cup. Gavin Hunt admitted to the media that his team played their worse game so far this season after Celtic won the game on penalties. This defeat is coming in a bad time for the Glamour Boys who are seeking their fourth win in the league. Muhsin Ertuğral who is layin’ low these days will definitely want to win this match no matter what. Amakhosi supporters will want to go to the Soweto Derby with a position mood and a victory will just do that for them.
Prediction: win for Chiefs

Free State Stars v Moroka Swallows
Venue: Charles Mopeli Stadium
Isikhathi: 19:30
Preview: Ea Lla Koto (fight to the end) will be looking to register their second victory in the Absa Premier League. Themba Sithole will want to continue their good performance that they showed in Telkom Knockout Cup. But The Beautiful Birds will be gunning to bounce back in the expense of Stars. One wonders if the Birds will be flying at night as they struggled against Pirates on Saturday.
Prediction: win Swallows

Santos v Mamelodi Sundowns
Venue: Athlone Stadium
Isikhathi: 19:30
Preview: It’s going to be a dynamic game at Athlone Stadium TONIGHT when The People's Team host Bafana Bastyle. Sundowns will be looking to bounce back after they got knocked out of the Telkom Knockout Cup by the rookies (Bay United) and again losing in the LEAGUE. This could be Trott Moloto’s last game as Sundowns manager and he would like to leave it with an emphatic win.
Prediction: win for Sundowns

Bidvest Wits v Maritzburg United
Venue: Bidvest Stadium
Isikhathi: 20:00
Preview: One can’t tell who is going to win this game. However, if you ask people from Durban or Jozi they’ll tell you that The Students will take this one. The Team of Choice (United) has failed to show their class they showed when they defeated Chiefs 3-2 in their second league game. Gordon Igesund will want to show and prove to his critics that the victory against Chiefs was not lucky when he faces his old friend Roger De Sa.
Prediction: draw

Bay United v Thanda Royal Zulu
Venue: EPRU Stadium
Isikhathi: 20:00
Preview: Watsh’Umlilo (The fire is burning) are still wounded after losing in the Telkom Knockout Cup… as many of their fans expected them to make the FINAL after beating Sundowns. Amabhubesi (The Lions) are one team you can’t really tell what are they going to do on that day. This game for Coach Vladislav Heric is a must win as they are playing at home. One wonders who will win this one, but with Bernard Parker on FIRE... United should WATCH OUT!
Prediction: win for Thanda
