The expectations are very high; supporters from both teams want nothing but a win for their respective teams, well only one team can win or they can share the spoils, hopefully more goals will be scored.
The teams had been hot and cold lately, lack of consistency. Orlando Pirates conceded rather easy goals at their last encounter against Moroka Swallows, but the fighting spirit in the Bucs camp seem to be rising. Both teams had poor starts and this is the chance to show their fans that they can still be considered the best.
While we patiently wait for Saturday’s game: the journey starts tonight for both teams; Kaizer Chiefs are up against Matsatsantsa a Pitori. This is a tough one for Amakhosi. Orlando Pirates are up against the tycoons, Platinum Stars; the miners are hot and cold as well. Hopefully the Soweto Kings will win their games tonight ahead of the big derby.
Honestly when these two teams meet; everything stands still… soccer wise, every tavern and pub eMzansi will be full of amasapota. This is the day to hang around le bo mamazala if you don't make it to Maf'town.
It's the day to relax at home and watch Mzansi diski. Braai with you fellows and cheer the boys, Mafikeng never disappoint, as the stadium will be full. I'm hoping for mare goals, not just goals, but great crackers of goals; tsamayas and sthendes must be put on show to improve the mood and the fans love it. So go people of Maf'town and surroundings: fill that stadium to capacity.
I'm adding numbers e-Athlone Stadium tonight when Mamelodi Sundowns face Santos. I will be with my Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates friends. Hehehe. I have nothing to lose on Saturday, win or lose Hennessey is guaranteed.
