VV tactical experiment cost Orlando Pirates

Written By Unknown on Saturday, March 15, 2014 | Saturday, March 15, 2014

Orlando Pirates coach Vladimir Vermozovic (VV) tactical experiment of playing Ayanda Ngcaba as left back worked against the team.

Orlando Pirates lacked offensive movement from the left wing whilst many of Ngcaba crosses were astray. Pirates is good attacking from the back going forward, but tactical system deployed were ineffective.

I don’t have adequate statistics but Pirates shots on target were very disappointing. The Kaizer Chiefs keeper was never tested. He was in the honeymoon for 90 minutes.

The defeat against Chiefs summarised the team poor, inconsistency and erratic performance this season and the championship aspiration is over now.

Congratulations to Kaizer Chiefs for strengthening its championship desire on top of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) log.
