Many
soccer fans are complaining that the FIFA FIFPro World XI of 2012 is only made
up of Spanish La Liga players from 3 teams (Real Madrid X 5, Barcelona X 5 and
Athletico Madrid X 1) despite FIFA confirming that 50,000 FIFPro professional
voted for the current Fifpro World XI.
It
is a well known and proven fact that FIFA is surrounded by some unreliable and questionable
officials with corruption tendency. There is a huge possibility that the real
50 000 votes were rigged to satisfy FIFA obsession to Spanish La Liga.
FIFA/FiFPro
World XI team is now giving us a distorted image of the world best XI players.
Goalkeeper
I’m
happy with goal keeping Department. Iker Casillas is world best goalkeeper. No
objection.
Defence
German
captain Philipp Lahm should have replaced Marcelo of Real Madrid at the left
back position. I also believe that Vincent Kompany of Manchester City, Mats
Hummels of Borussia Dortmund and Thiago Motta of Paris Saint-Germain are far
better than the pair of Sergio Ramos and Gerald Pique at the central defence
and libero position whilst Mathieu Debuchy of Lille is much better than Dani
Alves at the right back.
Engine Room
Andrea
Pirlo hasn’t lost any of his flair and is still able to run the show in the
middle of the park but he is also missing from the team. 2012 African Football
of the Year, Yaya Toure, has also done enough to be considered in this team. Pirlo
or Toure should have replace Xavi who had erratic weather performance either
hot or cold throughout the season.
Strikers
Didier
Drogba with predatory instincts of scoring goals did well for Chelsea in the UEFA
Champion League banging avalanches of important goals and should have been
selected to partner Lionel Messi ahead of Radamel Falcao.
Falcao
of Athletico Madrid is a deadly striker but I strongly believe that Robin van
Persie of Manchester United has the best scoring techniques than him too.
Now
I understand why they are calling FIFA as FIFALONA and Sepp Blatter as Sepp
Blatterlona.
