Over 50 countries to watch Soweto Derby courtesy of SuperSport

Over 50 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa will get to witness the now highly-anticipated Absa Premiership Soweto Derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs courtesy of SuperSport’s reach across the continent.

“The success of many leagues throughout the world depends, amongst other things, on the quality of the broadcast product. Our partnership with SuperSport has made us to be a cut above the rest – when it comes to broadcast quality and how our product is packaged and presented, we are proud of the work done by SuperSport International. The Absa Premiership Soweto Derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs is yet another opportunity for the PSL and SuperSport to showcase our product on a global stage,” commented PSL CEO, Brand de Villiers.

The World of Champions’ buildup to Saturday starts on Thursday with an exclusive 30-minute preview on PSL Specials immediately followed by Thursday Night Live where Robert Marawa sits down with former allies- turned-rivals , recently appointed Pirates coach Vladimir Vermezovic and Chiefs’ assistant Doctor Khumalo.

Legends of this encounter, Jimmy Tau, Mark Fish and Mark Williams, will be pitch-side with Marawa for an hour-and-a-half discussion.
