There are a lot of things to consider about
Ivan Bukenya after Kaizer Chiefs confirmed the signature of the 22-year-old Ugandan
International.
(1) As a foreign player, he had better be
better than what we have in the country in terms of talent; otherwise his move
will not make sense and will result in him being put under pressure.
(2) Age cheating is robbing our football
in Africa and it affects development as well. There is no way this guy is 22
years old.
(3) He is now a Khosi player (age cheating
and all) so the best we can do is support him and the team for the team' sake.
(4) Apparently he can play both in central
defense and central defensive midfield. So even though we didn't want to sign Aaron
'Mbazo' Mokoena who is a local and can play both positions, and we didn't try
to lure a leader like Benson Mhlongo who is a local and can play both
positions, let us support this guy who in all honesty is in their age group
because he is now a Khosi player.
So Mr. Ivan Bukenya, welcome to Naturena
young old man. Get Khosified ASAP and help us retain the glory.
