The
Tefu Mashamaite U-17 Inter-School Tournament is organized by an NPO, Hananwa
Development Forum (HD Forum), of which Mr. Ngwako Maphakela is chairing and
they are registered with the Department of Social Development, Reg Nº 123-892
NPO.
The
Tefu Mashamaite U-17 Inter-School Tournament is going to be a 1-day-event
competed by 8 school teams and all the players will be registered students of
the respective schools.
It
will be held at Mammoka Secondary School, this school where Tefu matriculated.
Mammoka Secondary School is the same school that was eliminated by Rosina
Sedibane in the quarter-finals of the Sanlam Kay Motsepe Schools Cup in
Bloemfontein.
"This
is the form in which Tefu is giving back to his beloved community. We have him
as our main tournament sponsor, we are still very open to other sponsors as
well,"
"The
main purpose of hosting this tournament is to try unearth more talent that is
hidden in our rural places and also encourage students to take their studies
very serious, just as Tefu did."
