The Telkom Knock Out: KO

Written By Unknown on Friday, October 17, 2008 | Friday, October 17, 2008

The defending champions, Kaizer Chiefs, are up against Golden Arrows. This is going to be an interesting game. Amakhosi were not doing well in their last three PSL games and Arrows were actually performing well. Arrows defeated Mamelodi Sundowns 4-2 in their last PSL game. Without a doubt Arrows want to keep their winning momentum going and the fact that they play Chiefs is a bonus, motivation itself as well.

Amakhosi definitely want to have a good start. So it's going to be an interesting to see who will be smiling after 90 minutes. Historically Amakhosi are just good (lucky most of the time) in cup games, but hey, they win the games, that's what matters most.

Abafana be Sthende obviously are tired of being the whipping boys in every cup games. They lost to Chiefs in most of the opening cup games. But given their form and dept in the team this season; they have what it takes to progress to the next victim (team).

Ayeye kuyafiwa baf'wethu!! Anyway history and form don't matter in a first cup game, one who wants to win most will be victorious at the end of the day, golden arrows play good pave football and they are capable to score cracks of goals while on the other hand my brothers from Naturena are goal shy. They were so exposed by David "Ferrari" Radebe on one occasion, their defense is liking. May the best team win and may the SAPS be on their toes in Sunnyside, for car spinning in case a certain team wins.

He-he he we all know that one hey - they will blow their vuvuzelas till Tuesday morning in case they win.
