Agents VS Clubs

Written By Unknown on Thursday, October 16, 2008 | Thursday, October 16, 2008

It saddened me to see players suffering because of poor representatives from their Agents. The Sphelele-Mthembu saga is not the first one but hopefully is the last, we don't need this. Player's agents are greedy; they just want to fill their pockets and drive big machines without considering the future of the players.

How on earth do you agree to two contracts at the same time (if what is happening is actually true)? Players as well should use their common sense. They must be in charge of their future. SPhelele Mthembu's future is bright, but if he goes through this before he can even make his marking the big league!! Eish something is definitely wrong.

Question is how did he get into this mess? Players should acknowledge that the professional league is not like the armature teams where you can just move as you like. I appeal to all soccer agents; to not to look at their pockets only but consider the future of their players, because without the players they can't get paid.

They should carefully look at the team where they want to put the player, consider if the particular player can suit in particular club proposed. Players it is your duty not to jump at any wire the agent put in front of you, question the agent, make sure you understand what you get yourself into! Take charge of your lives guys.

On the issue which is dominating the blog vandag: well done Bafana Bafana, for the third win in a row, it shows how you value our support. Continue with the momentum, don't look back. I don't believe in the so-called B team. If they have eleven players on the pitch then is still GHANA, and this player they hungrier than those called stars.

Bloem People I always have respect for you in terms of support and will never change that, the only BEEF that I have with you is that, it seem like you don't know the different between Bafana Bafana and Bloemfontein Celtics.

I love your support, you passionate about the game, but putting in your Bafana jerseys won't hurt, if you don't have them you can always put in your yellow or green t shirts. You guys are marvel in the stadiums and no one can argue that, keep it up and we are all taking notes, SHAPA Bafana SHAPA.

SABC was on it again, they forced the game to start at 20:30 just to accommodate Karabo le Paul, eish yazi!!
