Tendai "Fire" Ndoro signed with Mpumalanga Black
Aces in August 2013, but failed to register with the Premier Soccer League (PSL)
on the 2nd of September 2013 due to delay of international clearance.
He was loaned back to his team Chicken Inn in the Zimbabwe
Castle Premiership League. Despite missing out in the first 2 months of the
season, Ndoro won Zimbabwe Premiership Golden Boot with 18 goals and also
selected in the Zimbabwe League 11 Stars of the year, but lost out in the
Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Star of the year award which was
won by the Dynamos captain Tawanda Muparati.
In January 2014, Tendai Ndoro was official registered by Black
Aces. He played his first official game against SuperSport United but failed to
convert two clear cut goal opportunities.
After the game, I spoke with Mpumalanga Black Aces coach
Clive Barker who was very satisfied with Ndoro contribution into the game. Black
Aces coach Clive Barker told me that Ndoro is a special striker with good
scoring techniques and excellent composure.
He further said that Tendai has ability to challenge for the Lesley
Manyathela Golden Boot despite joining the team after five months of the PSL
season.
Tendai is living up to the Clive Barker expectation and
prediction. The boy had already scored 7
goals in 2 months whilst the PSL leading goalscorer Bernard Parker of Kaizer
Chiefs already scored 10 goals in 7 months which justified unimpressive and
poor striking rate in the PSL.
Watch out for the Mpumalanga Black Aces striker Tendai
"Fire" Ndoro this season.
