Dear
Lehlohonolo Majoro,
The Kaizer Chiefs Supporters are not angry with you, you must understand that some
of us at Chiefs idolised you and even at times idolised you by using your
jersey number.
It
is a bitter pill to swallow that you went to our fiercest rivals (Orlando Pirates)
and as supporters we are bound to feel "betrayed". However, I respect
your decision but remember there are two sides to every coin. For now you have
not achieved greatness but I know you are the best. By commenting negatively
without knowing who the next coach at Pirates may be or what the future holds
is ill adviced.
Ask
players who crossed the floor and moved to the opposite direction and they will
tell you that they survived by knowing when to respond to journalists. They can
kill your career, your comments with Robert Marawa after the game were your opinion
but to some so called "passionate" supporters won't take a liking to
that.
Let
me tell you what we always do on Monday after the derby, we talk as opposing
supporters and critic the players we like and don't like. Sometimes we used to
say "We at Chiefs have Majoro, he can speak English and he is
educated" and we will say "You at Pirates, you have (Andile) Jali, he
can't speak English", this is but one of the examples I would give about
passionate soccer lovers in Mzansi.
So
your comments, broer just watch out that they may not kill your career. Listen
to Dr. Irvin Khoza's advice and you will succeed. Ask Lucky Lekgwathi why he
nearly didn't play in the CAF Champions League final and he will tell you that
"Big Mouth Kills".
I
still like you Majoro, just play soccer. Marks Maponyane was a Chiefs player
and I even liked him when he played for Pirates and that was because of his character.
