Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot is destined to Chloorkop

Mamelodi Sundowns new striker Rodney "Ramagoals" Ramagalela played 65 Minutes in the past 2 games for Mamelodi Sundowns but he already scored 1 goal and created 1 important goal of the 5 Sundowns goals in past 2 games. His current performance has already sent enough signals that Ramagalela will be a force to be reckoned with in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

He has an addiction to score goals week and week out since his days at Black Leopards but harm string injury is the only problem affected his progress in the past. If he stays injury-free, he will be a key to Sundowns league success this season.

Pitso Mosimane is the PSL current happiest coach with balance and effective striking force in the PSL. He has aggressive strikers with sufficient pace coupled with composure and goal scoring techniques but the only tactical downfall of his strikers is aerial ball ability. His strikers are good on the ground with limited airborne ability.

Now I have adequate rationale of Mosimane non-stop talking about Ramagalela offensive impact in the press Conference. With all the adequate ball supply upfront by Sundowns effective and innovative midfielders, I foresee Ramagalela and Cuthbert Malajila scoring avalanches of goals week and week out as Mosimane is going to test their combination after unimpressive performance by Katlego Mashego against Polokwane City, Free State Stars and University of Pretoria.

The combination of Malajila and Ramagalela being the speed, aggressiveness, composure and goal scoring techniques. Both players are hustlers who don't give any defence a chance to breath. They are hungry players who wanna score the goals week and week out. The written is already on the wall that Katlego Mphela is on his way out after failed to make the 18th man team in two previous games against Free State Stars and University of Pretoria despite scoring 2 goals in 7 minutes against AmaZulu.

Mosimane tone in the media conference already suggested that new twins combination between Ramagalela and Malajila is on the card now.  The duo already combined nicely especial against University of Pretoria in 3-1 win. Mosimane has a believer in his new players than Sundowns old players who did badly in last season. Mosimane is rebuilding Sundowns around his new players who already displayed promising performance.

I can boldly predict that the race for the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot will be between 5 players this season namely Ramagalela, Malajila, Lennox Bacela, Bernard Parker and Edward Manqele. However, Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot is destined to Chloorkop after Sundowns failed to produce the PSL top goal-scorer since the days of Daniel Mbulaheni Mudau in the late 90s.

With Teko Modise, Khama Billiat, Bongani Zungu, Dove Wome , Anthony Laffor  and yet to play Elias Pelembe defence splitting pass, I don't foresee any player beside Ramagalela and Malajila winning the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot with between 17-22 goals.
