Wits FC have confirmed that their contract with head coach, Antonio Lopez Habas,
has been terminated by mutual consent, with immediate effect.

Wits FC Chief Executive Officer, Jose Ferreira, stated: "Antonio Lopez has
requested that, due to personal and private reasons, he be released from his
contract, due to expire at the end of the season. We have acceded to his
request and we are in the process of finalising the necessary paperwork in this
regard. Antonio Lopez has been an exemplary professional and we wish him the very
best in his future endeavours."
Bidvest
Wits FC confirm further that they have appointed Clive Barker as their head
coach until the end of the 2012/2013 season. He will be assisted by Andre
Arendse as assistant coach, which duties he will fulfill together with his
existing duties as goalkeeper coach. Bidvest Wits FC resumed training this
morning and Andre Arendse will also be responsible for the team until Clive
Barker officially commences his duties with effect from Monday, 7 January 2013.

Barker is one of the most experienced coaches in South African football and we
believe that in Clive we have a coach with the pedigree to come in at this
stage of the season and help the club deliver on its objectives for the
season" stated Jose Ferreira.
