Moses Mabhida to host Telkom Knockout Final

Written By Unknown on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 | Wednesday, November 21, 2012

Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium will host the 2012/13 Telkom Knockout final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic.

This was confirmed by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) today.  The Telkom Knockout (TKO) final will kick-off at 20h15.

This will be for a second successive year that the TKO Final is hosted at the awe-striking Moses Mabhida Stadium.

PSL Acting CEO, Cambridge Mokanyane said: “I’m happy to announce that we have decided to take this final to Durban. I would like to thank the City of Durban for their cooperation during this process.  Durban as a destination has always been good to us. Last year, we hosted a successful TKO final at the Moses Mabhida. We are hoping to replicate that success and break new grounds.”

During a draw held yesterday, Mamelodi Sundowns were drawn as the home team. This means they will have first preference on the training times at Moses Mabhida on the eve of the match, playing colours and change rooms at the stadium.

The PSL announced that Tickets will be on sale in the next few hours.
