Mashamaite and Siphiwe Tshabalala.
“The
first quarter of the Absa Premiership has been nothing but exhilarating,” says,
PSL Acting CEO Cambridge Mokanyane.
“I
would like to congratulate Kaizer Chiefs on being the inaugural winners of the
Q Innovation. Q 1 has enabled the clubs to have short term and long term goals.
We have seen in the opening quarter that the focus of the Absa Premiership is
no longer focused on the last games of the season, but we have seen that every
game counts. Other impressive statistics
from AmaKhosi have been the number of goals they have been able to score. The
team has done well thus far and should be commended.”
The
journey to become League Champions continues for the Soweto outfit as the
second quarter (Q2) will begin with the re-set during the mid week matches and
after every team has played an additional seven games, then Q2 will be complete
and the winner will be presented with the winnings.
