The University of Pretoria Football Club, AmaTuks will be embarking on a tour around Tshwane. The tour is aimed at visiting the different Townships/Communities in Tshwane with the AmaTuks players and technical staff. The team will hold soccer clinics in the communities and have their training sessions open to the public.

AmaTuks Marketing Officer, Karabo Molokoane sees the importance of growing the AmaTuks brand within the Tshwane communities.

“We want to grow our brand among the Tshwane communities and this can only be achieved by being visible within these communities. Every month we will schedule a visit to a community in Tshwane” said Karabo.

The first leg of the tour will kick-off this Friday 02 November 2012 in Soshanguve. The team will hold their training session at the Giant Stadium; the session is open to the public to come watch. Training will commence at 11:30.

The team will then travel to Sohanguve Pick n’ Pay Plaza for a meet and greet session with the players and technical team.

Other targeted communities are; Mamelodi, Atteridgedville, Hammanskraal, Mabopane and Eesterust to mention a few. During these visits there will be giveaways, visits to community centres and supporter’s registration.
