The
Promotion Play-offs draw was conducted today, Sunday 20 May 2012 in what will
be an all-coastal team affair.
The
draw, conducted by PSL CEO, Stan Matthews and GM: Football Derek Blanckensee,
was done minutes after Tuks were crowned champions of the National First
Division at the Absa Tuks Stadium. The university side will play in the Absa
Premiership next season.
The
Promotional Play-offs will feature three teams: one from the Absa Premiership
and two National First Division sides.
On
Saturday, Santos were condemned to the play-offs after they finished 15th in
the Absa Premiership. This was after their closest rivals; Black Leopards
enjoyed a 3-1 goal cushion against Ajax Cape Town on Saturday.
The
two NFD teams will be Chippa United and Thanda Royal Zulu.
