Let us not
lose focus here on the matter. When you go to work, you go there with the
intention for providing the best for yourself and your family, your way of
making money will dictate how you do your span.
There is
another force at play here - the invincible hand of the "Agent". They
too make money during transfers, and when it comes to a player like Bidvest
Wits captain Sifiso Myeni, it is now an auction.
All you
need is to leak a few words about "happiness" (or lack of) and say
something about Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates or even Mamelodi Sundowns - watch
the bids begin.
When a
player is signed, make sure that he is needed in that team... why would a
player sign for a team that has 6 wingers already? So, make your move a
strategic one, go to a place you know you will be a shinning rock and observe
their ambition. If you are a player you assess your chances of contributing
towards championships or cups.
The
invincible hand here is busy trying to auction the poor chap (Sifiso Myeni)... at
his age (23), he might be another potential that never got to reach its true
height.
I am not
saying he should not sign for whatever team, just he should be careful of where
he goes or stays, assess their ambition and question how that particular team
can have a competitive edge over anothers.
Great
weekend ya'll - enjoy the start of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations!
