No crisis as Majavu resigns as PSL CEO

Written By Unknown on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 | Wednesday, October 19, 2011

There is no crisis here; Mr. Zola Majavu resigned for reasons known to him. Obviously if there are clauses in the employment contract, that you are not happy with YOU go.

And you have tried to renegotiate them without any success, what other option you have available to you other than resignation?

As for the Premier Soccer League, I find it odd that the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) as a person, who has fudiciary duty to run the organization, has got no power to appoint his own executive.

My common sense tells me that the Premier Soccer League Board of Governors should afford the CEO the space to run the Organization and be judged purely on results.

This interference by the Premier Soccer League Board of Governors is, maybe a source of Mr. Majavu resignation.

I think the Premier Soccer League is run like a para-statal!
