Chiefs are not a team anymore

Written By Unknown on Monday, May 4, 2009 | Monday, May 04, 2009

I was invited to Church on Friday for a singles seminar. The Pastor was really good and gave us a lot to think about. Most importantly how to determine when you single. He further emphasized that we should work together as a team in a relationship. Pity the Chiefs players were not there.

Mushin has made the players at Chiefs single, and they not aware for they still believe they are a team. This group of individual players from Naturena would have played better have they attended the seminar. It is not really that bad to be single. There are things you can achieve whilst being single.

I feel shame for one single player called Simphiwe Tshabalala, whom the couch, oops, I meant the Coach, singled out as one player who played well below the standards of an international player. I believe the Couch/coach expected a miracle from this single player against the quality team of the Sea Robbers.

This team (Bucs) handed the Couch (Mushin) some free football lessons at Mmabatho, and the coach (Krol) thought by now the couch (Mushin) would have learnt the Mmabatho lessons. Mushin went in this game like a man who was not interested to be at Naturena next year.

The management at Naturena will have to take all this individual players and build a team for next season. For them to achieve this, they should first relegate whoever is responsible for dismantling what was once the Glamour team. If they are not sure who this is, they should give a call to Mabhuti Khanyeza, Cyril Nzama, Gert Schalkwyk, Ditheko Mototo, etc.

Where is Thabo Mooki?
