Jules Rimet Cup
The World Cup (The Golden Nike) was founded in 1930 by Frenchman Jules Rimet, the creator of the world championship games. The cup was designed and made by a French sculptor, Abel Lafleur. 35 cm in height, weighing 3,8 kg and made of pure gold, the sculpture depicted Nike of Samothrace (Winged Victory). In 1950 the statuette was named the Jules Rimet Cup after its founder. It was a trophy passed on to each winner and the team to win the tournament three times got to keep it (Brazil achieved this in 1970). In 1983 the Cup was stolen and it has never been found.
FIFA World Cup
The FIFA World Cup was founded in 1971. It was designed by Silvio Gazzanigi of Italy. Made of 18-carat gold and malachite, the cup is 36,5 cm tall and weighs 6,2 kg. The sculpture depicts two triumphant football players holding a globe in their raised hands. The trophy is passed on to each winning team that gets to keep an identical (but gold-plated) replica. The making of the statue cost about $50,000, today its value is estimated to over $10,000,000. After each tournament the name of the winning country and the year of their World Cup victory are engraved in the bottom side of the trophy. Space on the base will run out in 2038 at the earliest.

At the rate fifa id smoking durban poison already we might be heading for a splify world cup. They are dagone freaken high from smoking sonor. They are like a bitch in heat, they cry over everything now. We have exchanged power from Botha to Decklerk to Mandela to Mbeki to Motlante and to Zuma. All went okay but now fifa wants to monitor SAFA elections. If they do we will expect them to show up at local branch of Batau United for Johannesburg branch president. They are the very ones wearing too many caps. Cyril Ramaphosa and Mbazima Shilowa and Frank Chikane must steer again just one more time a mass rolling action against fifa.If we set the precedent that we can be pulled by our noses then the next African country to host this c event if that will ever happen again will face lot of bull poop. It looks like inkatha still has sticks and shield and a song. Let us follow SAFA constitution and let Danny and Khoza still continue at LOC even after elections and who ever does not like our pudding, so well. We have been dictated too much and so enough of that, from hence forth we take lead and the rest listen while we play on these shores often raided by people who stole other people and turned them into profits, slaves and sex objects Their blood is still burried on these shores.Too many have died in ambush, slave trade routes, genocide, apartheid and too much sponsored killings and it will be a great lie to say people are over these. Hence this event would have been a relief from such scars. But now we have to take a few more blows.
