Igesund's mandate shouldn't be measured on the CHAN which is a local based African competition. Igesund is the future and he will take South Africa to new heights.
SAFA must stop the mentality of wanting to changing coaches like underwears. I believe that Gordon has to be given a chance and lead us. We have had all the world's best coaches and still the results were still the same but we never criticised them like we doing with our fellow South African.
Igesund understands South African football and I believe that he will pave a good way. On the allegations of him instigating bonuses, I think that's just another SAFA's trick to try and get rid of Igesund.
I do not for a second believe that a person of Igesund's stature will do that, if SAFA had promised the players the bonuses irrespective of which stage they come out of the tournament, they should honour that as per their promise.
I don't think Igesund as an adult can just instigate such. Thank you SAFA for giving Igesund a chance and allowing him to take us into the future, I believe he won't disappoint.
