The
Premier Soccer League (PSL) CEO, Brand de Villiers has wished the two South
African clubs involved in CAF continental club football the best of luck ahead
of their respective matches this weekend.
Both Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United will kick-off their continental campaigns when they play in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup respectively.
Kaizer
Chiefs, the reigning Absa Premiership champions, will host Black Africa from
Namibia in the CAF Champions League at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night.
Kick-off is at 20h00.
SuperSport
United will also be at home against Gaborone United at the Lucas Moripe
Stadium. Kickoff is at 20h15 in the CAF Confederations Cup.
De Villiers said: “This weekend is very
important not only for Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United but for the Premier
Soccer League. The two clubs do not just represent their badge but they carry
the South African flag and the hopes of the entire country. On behalf of the
League, I would like to wish both Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United the best
of luck.
