CHAN is poorly marketed

Written By Unknown on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 | Tuesday, January 07, 2014

Proper Planning, effective marketing and communication are amongst the biggest challenged facing our ineffective and aging Confederations of African Football (CAF) administrators.

African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2014 starts this weekend in South Africa and am not certain if many soccer fans are aware of this poorly marketed competition.

With only 4 days left, fans are not certain where to purchase tickets and even the ticketing pricing is still unknown.  CAF marketing department is failing the continent.

The competition hype was even eclipsed by Kaizer Chiefs drama of refusing to release its players for this competition not endorsed by FIFA but latter reached an agreed to release them.

Are you feeling CHAN competition?
