Stuart Baxter: Why fix it if it ain't broke?

Written By Unknown on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 | Wednesday, December 18, 2013

Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has regained his conscious by realizing that Mulomowandau “Tower” Mathoho is far better than his favorite player Morgan Gould with erratic performance coupled with many defensive errors.

Tower has a bright international future ahead of him and always gave 110% excellent performance when given an adequate opportunity but Baxter was very close to mess up his blossoming career by deploying him in unusual position undermining his rare defensive ability.

I have explicitly rejected the notion that Tower was not in his utmost best form this season. Baxter misused Tower by playing him in unusual position which nearly ravaged his confidence and killed his soccer spirits after admitted that he doesn't mind seating on the bench but it was an utterances emanated from frustration and low self esteem not performance-based related matters.

Tefu Mashamaite and Tower Mathoho combo always give Itumeleng Khune an excellent defensive assurance than Morgan Gould and Mashamaite ineffective combo with many observed defensive errors.

Let’s not forget that Mashamaite and Mathoho defensive combo brought double to Naturena last season after 5 years of Championship drought so why fix it if it ain't broke?

What’s your view of Mashaimate and Mathoho combo?
