Written By Unknown on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 | Tuesday, December 03, 2013

It is cup final week for Platinum Stars as they prepare to take on Orlando Pirates in the 2013 Telkom Knockout decider at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday night (kickoff 20h15).

Dikwena have already beaten Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs on their way to the final of South Africa’s League Cup competition, with The Buccaneers the only side standing between them and a second trophy this season.

And tickets for both this match and the Absa Premiership fixture against Pirates at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on December 16 are currently on sale!

Tickets for the Telkom Knockout final can be purchased from all Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide and are priced at R60 for adults and R10 for children under 12 years of age.

Stars have also arranged transport to Mbombela for supporters at a cost of just R300, which includes a match ticket. For more information please contact the club’s offices on 014 573 4700.

Tickets for the league encounter between Platinum Stars FC and Orlando Pirate FC later in the month, which has a 18h00 kick-off and is on the Day of Reconciliation public holiday, are now also on sale at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers. These are priced at R40 for adults and R20 for children under 12 years of age.

Fans can also purchase tickets for this game at the following local outlets:

Phokeng Meat Market at Phokeng Complex, Lucky’s Place at Phokeng, Madala Place at Luka, Tommy’s Place at Kanana’ Coconut’ Pub at Rustenburg Town, Tlhabane Foro Spar, Kedasa Lodge at Rasimone and Mogwase Caltex Garage.

Hospitality tickets are also available for the league encounter and are priced at R800, which includes a three-course meal and full bar. These can be purchased from the club’s offices.

“As we look to win our second cup final of the season and are also well placed in the league, both these games are very important for the team, hence we appeal to supporters to come out in numbers to both games,” says Platinum Stars Supporters' Co-coordinator & Media Relations head Aubrey Molobi.

“The team is ready and all that we need now is for the supporters from all corners of the North West Province and the entire communities of Royal Bafokeng Nation to come out and get behind the team.
“We intend to give our supporters an early Xmas gift by winning both these matches against Pirates and doing our best in all our remaining games in 2013 to end the year on a high.

“We have also priced the official replica jersey of the team at just R300 and urge supporters to show their love for the team by wearing the Platinum Stars colours.

“Our supporters’ membership cards are also available with different packages to suit fans’ needs.”
