A message to Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and his
technical team: Here is how to beat Kaizer Chiefs this season.
The most games I have watched Chiefs win their games cos they make sure that they pressurize their opponents early on by adding numbers in front which will ultimately force their opponents to make mistakes especially at dangerous areas and they take full advantage by punishing their opponents.
The most games I have watched Chiefs win their games cos they make sure that they pressurize their opponents early on by adding numbers in front which will ultimately force their opponents to make mistakes especially at dangerous areas and they take full advantage by punishing their opponents.
One of the examples of that is their game against Mpumalanga Black Aces of which Bernard Parker scored against Aces, but the way I saw Teko Modise playing against Bloemfontein Celtic he commanded the midfield excellently by spraying those passes of which 2 of them created 2 of Sundowns’ goals.
The key thing is that when Chiefs put pressure on their opponents that leaves them thin at the back, so Sundowns with skillful players like Modise with those visionary long passes and/or passes behind the defence and speedy players like Richard Henyekane and Cuthbert Malajila that will enable Sundowns to beat Chiefs at their own game. I am personally mentioning Chiefs because they are the team that I see can compete with Sundowns in terms of winning silverware this season.
However, other teams like SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates are capable of causing an upset, also Sundowns needs to be weary of dark horses this season.
