Kaizer Chiefs and Vladimir Vermezovic have officially parted ways

Written By Unknown on Thursday, April 12, 2012 | Thursday, April 12, 2012

A statement on the Kaizer Chiefs website (www.kaizerchiefs.com) confirmed that Vladimir Vermezovic had left as head coach, it said, “At a meeting held today, 12 April 2012, at the Kaizer Chiefs Village, with the Executive Chairman, a member of the Board, the Football Manager, the Coach Vladimir Vermezovic and his Agent regarding the Coach’s future with the Club, it was agreed to part ways with immediate effect, in order to allow both parties to prepare for the new season in good time.

“The Club thanks the Coach for his services during his tenure at Kaizer Chiefs for the last three seasons and wishes him all the best for his future endeavours. For the remainder of the 2011/2012 Season, Ace Khuse will be in charge of the Team, assisted by Doctor Khumalo, Arthur Zwane and the rest of the Technical Team.”

YES we might all be happy that Vladimir Vermezovic has been fired but my concern is the termination period, we spend three seasons with him then let him go when his contract and season was about to end. I strongly believe that as much we saw VV as an issue this will also challenge the character of our players.

We all saw that these boys do well, with or without VV, I’m not defending him or what so ever, but this will go back to the management its self, they knew and saw that we failed almost the whole season, but we cowards enough to make this move, why now, did he have a fight with management this time?

Thanks for the move but bad timing and KHUSE, DOC and ZWANE still a hard one to figure out.

Let's wait and see.
