Transfer Window Debate

Written By Unknown on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 | Tuesday, August 30, 2011

Proffesor Khumalo says: With Less than 48 hours left before the transfer window closes, clubs are rushing to register new players. Who do you want your team to sign??? The likes of Papi Zothwane, Benedict Vilakazi, and Mathew Booth are club-less. Collins Mbesuma, Sthembiso Ngcobo, Eduardo Ferreira, Anthony Laffor and Erwin Isaacs set to jump ship if bigger offers are made to them :-)

Lwazi Lupuwana
Mbesuma to Pirates exchange with Mabena and Mthembu, Zothwane to Pirates to marshal that midfield & spring those passes....

Veli Mlambo
Erwin Isaacs for Kaizer Chiefs!!!

Todd Kabo Toddhino Kebinatau
I want Isaacs on BOARD... he belongs to a club where he will have something GOLD hanging around his neck every season! Imagine him retiring without a single medal that would be unfair to his career, so me, wants him at Naturena....

Owen Mundalamo
No Lwazi... Mabena is having a form of his life. They must exchange Mayambela and Mthembu for Mbesuma.... Zothwane is too slowly to fit into Pirates system but he is damn good!

Proffesor Khumalo
Awu Owen... Mayambela?? The boy is class I think he is not used effectively in the team.

Maloka Modupe
We (Kaizer Chiefs) can make Zothwane a better player. He is a good playmaker. I want that big fish in Cape Town, Erwin Isaacs...

Owen Mundalamo
I would love to have More... Diouf from Maritzburg United to strengthen our defence especial when playing for CAF Championship, Mbesuma upfront to add attacking depth, Eriol Van Hardeen to strengthen our left wing and Hlompo Kekana to boost our midfield especial when playing CAF Championship away games. We need strong players to be the best in Africa.....

Tshembha Maluleke
I think Papi will add value in Naturena.

Delani Patrick Maphela
Mayambela still has something to offer Orlando Pirates!

Ntobeko Lesley
Isaacs would do us a world of good. Papi must just take a pay cut and sign a 2 year deal wit us (Kaizer Chiefs), I think he can still add value to Chiefs given da kind of football we are playing. Bobby at least one player Gould or Isaacs den we can talk about winning da league.

Mntungwa Victor OmVic Ntanjana
I am happy with what we have so far… we can’t just sign 4 de sake of signing just like Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates. Kaizer Chiefs will be unstoppable this season. Pirates are already vibrating inside their Black Label Cage!!!

Owen Mundalamo
To me, he is stylish and skillful but not effective... He doesn't have a significant impact in the team... He is not a team player, his work rate is too poor, most of his passes are astray, poor decision making. To be honest, if I were a coach, I would have release him. There is no difference between him and Shakira. Hey don't even have offensive skills.. That's my view... I am not a fan of Mark Mayambela... He is too costive through his Banana football. Not an appropriate player in modern football... He would have been a hit in 70s and 80s but now his skills are not adding any value.... We used to have Thaphelo Liau who was just like Mayambela but never played to his full ability despite galore of skills.....

Proffesor Khumalo
I disagree Owen, I mean as a coach you need to make a player play the way you want... I mean skills is what Ronaldo and Messi got so Mayambela needs good guidance... and he will be good...

Owen Mundalamo
Prof, how can he be used effective because when given chance, he doesn't come to the party.... The coach tried to start with him but failed to yield results... he is just another local player who is over glamorised, over decorated and overrated whilst failing to deliver... this is a 2nd season and he has not convience me to wear the black and white. His only best game was against Wits last year since than he is still struggling to perfect his art at Pirates... to be honest, Mark Mayambela is not Pirates material and wouldn't be surprise if they release him at the end of season... He needs to pull up his socks or jump the ship... I am not hard at him but he is not taking his game to the next level. He is constant and fixed… that's my honest opinion.

Mompoloki Young-Mmula Moalosi
If wishes were horses, I would like to see Papi Zothwane at Chiefs… he is a good playmaker and would be of great value especially now that Yeye is injured.....

Proffesor Khumalo
Did you see when Ronaldo arrived at Manchester United? Fegie build that boy... and Mayambela needs a coach like Fegie...

Owen Mundalamo
Prof, Robinho had all the breathtaking skills but failed to deliver magic for Real Madrid and Man City and even now he is not on top of his game at AC Milan... the Mexican wonder kid Dos Santos has all the array of skills but failed to shine at Tottenham Hotspur and was released. Dennilson had all the Steps- over of this world but failed in La Liga. Its not all about skills but team player, good decision making, hard work, passion to win, tactical discipline, maturarity, Skills alone are not an attribute of good player in modern football. Gone are the days of Vula-vala, shibobos, turn around and show me your number, tsamayas, 360 degree Turn without offensive tactics. It’s the tsiki-tsiki of football that don’t add no value at the end... we want goals not unnecessary showboating.....

Balekane Mokoditoa
I would like a quality right-back for when Jele is unavailable. Other than that I’m happy with my team Kaizer Chiefs.

Xoli Mapuma
We need a second choice keeper at Orlando Pirates. Cause now we only have first and third.

Pontsho Mayisela
I’m a big fan of Zothwane, hope he gets a team, I wonder what would have happened had he joined Chiefs, maybe be a core member of Bafana Bafana.

Owen Mundalamo
Ronaldo has all the skills and he is too offensive just like Nani... they always use their tricks and skills when going forward while Mayambela used his tricks and skills around himself without going forward... Ronaldo and Nani are aggressive and skillful while Mayambela is a circus player... how many goals did he score? The answer is Zero!

Luzuko Bakaniya Tshingana
At Xoli rumour has it that there is Brazilian goalkeeper training with Orlando Pirates.

Proffesor Khumalo
No no no Robinho delivered at Real Madrid not ko Manchester City. Then after that he went to Brasil and delivered. And yes also at AC Milan he didn’t deliver. I agree on that players sometimes do shibobos in areas that are unnecessary... then that is were one needs a coach who is also discipline and can speak to the player and teach him where and when to do a shibobo... not in the middle of the park... and fans do go wild even if he does it at the back.

Mfundo Manenzhe Mahlalesangweni Mkhonta
Owen bru wami for the first time I differ with your opinion on Mayambela. He is not a bad player at Cebo Manyapelo and CO… contributed 2hz haw dare can a commentator call a player “the ever wasteful” against Spurs of all teams! Juju remember he was Man Of The Match in that game against Bidvest Wits last season!!??

Vuyisile Nobby Slogos
Laffor will do for Orlando Pirates!

Kagiso Zela Molubi
I think Leal should play Mark Manyambela as Krol did... not as a free-role player, but as a winger... and we can’t afford to loose him too.

Owen Mundalamo
Manenzhe bru wami, Mayambela is fantastic player with array of skills but he is not using the skills to his ability... He has a potential to become one of the best but they are a lot of areas that he needs to improve to be the best.... His zig zag kind of football is not taking his football to the next level.. Skills are not good enough alone... He must be a team player, offensive, good decision making, high work rate etc.. I want to see more of his defence split passes, doing his tricks going forward and he must be serious when playing as sometimes I feel like he is likes teasing opponents unnecessarily...

Thando Ngidi Juju Lokuqina
I don’t want either of those players mention above. Those who are club-less like Vilakazi, Zothwane and all must stay like that (club-less) the ones who wanna leave their clubs to bigger guns the likes of Laffor, Ngobo and all must stay wherever they are!!!!

Phumzile Fiveskipas Manganye
Mayambela is a skilful player he just need good mentoring that’s all!!

Lebohang Mufasa Motsoatsoa
Mayambela is effective as a number 7, not free-role. Mbesuma is needed quickly. If we nee some one for a free role then ACE is the one. 4-5-1 is the system with JALI and MHLONGO, while Benni McCarthy plays as a number 10 behind the powerful Mbesuma as a lone striker. THIS TEAM WOULD BE INVINCIBLE IN S.A AND AFRICA.

Delani Patrick Maphela
I agree with Thando, I want neither of them... what we need is a third choice goal minder then we'll be fine...we have enough quality as it is!

Victor le Roux Eisan
Juju's Laffor would be just great seeing that we are going to play Champions League football soon. I agree we have the best and he will just smooth out edges where it is needed.
