The feeling of Camacho joining Sundowns

Written By Unknown on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 | Tuesday, May 17, 2011

Now, the question is how much is known about José Antonio Camacho. And will he be the right coach for Mamelodi Sundowns if he gets hired for 2011/12 season?

There is never going to be the right coach until Motsepe wakes up or sell this club. It’s beyond ridiculous working under such conditions 10 players in 5 out every season. Constant interference from Trott and Makhanya with the technical team. We have players who have little hunger to win anything and everyone else is just on gravy train.

If Camacho can bring the style and flair that Sundowns played by the time of Screamer; Ted Dumitru & Dolezar I will be happy.

Eish im tired of these European coaches. Isn’t there any1 better locally who can take over?

By Phil Makobela

@ Tumi, I agree with you fully. This team is going nowhere as long as Makhanya and Moloto are still there. I feel sorry 4 that coach, he won't last a season. Please Motsepe go and buy Blue Bulls and leave soccer alone nxa.

Lets give Gorowa another chance, given necessary support the man can do wonders to the club. Yeah the management needs some serious overhaul; some of them are jealous and their continued undermining of Gorowa has cost us.

Its a waste of money and time the team must go back to its original owners Krok brothers, and the Ticklas family, how many coaches has been hired under the current regime, how many trophies?? How many players have been brought to the team??? How many players have left, how much money has been spent???

Also @ Sundowns players whom a youth are loaned and keep those are old they will never win the league. For those who favoured Sundowns it’s painful. The team is depriving the fans PRIDE.

I get all your points guys but one thing is 4 sure, if we don’t give the coaches enough time and support to build a team 4 us, we not going anywhere. How many coaches have spent two full seasons at Chloorkop? Stop buying unnecessarily until de coach arrives.

Motsepe want da best for the team, let’s appreciate this coz Sundowns is a team of legends so he’s trying everywhere to bring the pride back.... no local coach can handle Sundowns it’s a fact, I welcome da man but I heard about Jose Manuel sometimes this season, what happened with him?

I'm gatvol what our management is doing. We are the laughing stock of SA. When was the last time we won some silverware? They buy every tom and d!ck in the market. Walter, Makhanya, Trott and Joan must all GO we don't need them at our team. Sundowns it’s not a charity organization where everybody works there. Motsepe must leave… we don’t want his money.

Coaches maybe changed, but till the players start to respect the ball and dances with it on the field, then we shall hit SA by storms. Let the guy continue coaching... The problem here is the players, let’s fire them all and buy new once. You will see that my point is actually valid.

Hiring Camacho by Sundowhns may not take us anywhere unless Motsepe is prepared to be patient and keep him a little longer. We shall continue building endlessly. I thought only Stoichkov almost made Sundowns play and win games but his stay was short-lived. Why did the management let him go? Our only bet now will be to pursue a local coach with pedigree such as Gavin Hunt and give him a five year contract to rebuild the team and instill some discipline.
