With most seasons at an end the Champion's league game may as well be the ultimate game of the season. We are promised an unscripted thriller of a match between Manchester United and Barcelona.
Sounds like a remake of a Rome 2009 final which saw United come out with tails between their legs after Barcelona triumphed for a prestigious champion's league glory.
Sir Alex Ferguson have succeeded before in plotting for Barcas fall, but can he do it again? Jose Mourinho insinuated that the referees had a soft heart for the Catalans. If that be true then the unfair dismissal of Darren Fletcher in Rome 2009 should well be in the memory of the red devils, and I guess its not going to be easy at Wembley on Saturday.
In 2009 United had the services of the catalyst CR7(Christiano Ronaldo), but then he was on a selfish crusade and Lionel Messi had a brilliant game. Pep Guardiola has a very sleek and flashy side. One wonders how Ferguson will plan his game.
The play station like Lionel Messi gave Jose Mourinho sleepless nights ahead of the 2 legged semi final clashes, One can only just wonder if Ferguson will resort to the same tactics or not. Beating Barca could help catalyse Ferguson's retirment. Who wouldn't like to retire while ahead? If he can master Barcelona then he might as well retire. Hey, don't look at me like that.
Manchester united play very disciplined and not so attractive football (My opinion) at times, but then it is winning football. With Carrick in the centre Lionel Messi may not have a free flowing game. United have Mr. Wayne Rooney who can score from every angle everywhere. United's defense is also on point with Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand on some great form and their last line in the form of Edwin van der Sar is impeccable.
I hope for a United win and maybe Ferguson can decide to stay away from the sidelines for good or maybe Barca can just do it one more time!
One more time
We're gonna celebrate
Oh yeah, alright
Don't stop the dancin'
One more time
We're gonna celebrate
Oh yeah, alright
Don't stop the dancin'
One more time
We're gonna celebrate
Oh yeah, alright
Don't stop the dancin'
One more time
We're gonna celebrate
Oh yeah
One more time
One more time
I'm just feelin' celebration tonight
Celebrate
No, we don't stop
You can't stop
