Supporters need to learn

What I witnesses last night at the Coca-Cola Park was disappointing and embarrassing to the whole South African football community. Really it was not necessary for the fans to jump into the pitch after the game.

Real supporters go to the stadiums to watch their heroes displaying diski skills in the pitch, they sit and cheer at them from the stands.

We have been complaining that SAFA, PSL and SABC are not doing enough to promote the Confederations Cup and the World Cup, yet the same complainants’ jumps into the playing pitch after a match, what are FIFA going to say about South African Fans?

After witnessing the good game the royal whipping to Mamelodi Sundowns by Orlando Pirates, we were supposed to go home and enjoy ourselves. That was really barbaric by my fellow supporters and I think that the PSL must charge Mr. Irvin Khoza and the Pirates supporters.

I mean if they can charge a team because the Coach did not attend a pre or post interview then they can do the same with this barbaric misconduct. PSL must take action. We supporters must try and learn that the pitch belongs to the players and we rule the stands.

There was a strategy at the same venue, people have died there yet we still cause havoc. Why mara baf’wethu? These supporters have no respect for the souls that we lost at that stadium, respect yourselves and support your team.

We all know that Pirates played well is not for the first time or the last time, but this kind of behavior cannot be tolerated. I know some of you, were inside the pitch wondering around thinking like you’re a KING, shame on you and you must apologise to yourselves and be glad that you still alive, don’t be fooled by the excitement of the moment.

Shame on you guys for jumping into the pitch and yet you don’t know what to say to the players, because I know you said things that they know, like “Well done Teko, you played well, blah blah blah”.

Robert Marawa gives you a platform on his Metro FM sports show for you to talk to your heroes, if you think that is not enough visit their training grounds and talk to them not on a match day on the pitch.

How will you feel if your whole village comes into your office unannounced, the pitch is the player’s office so respect their work place maan!

Great game Orlando Pirates - you have shown determination. Please masapotaz lets learn we are not pre school kids who don’t know any wrong doing. Jesses!
