Its simply over for Trapatoni

I have been inundated with the emails with people trying to understand the difference between a Coach and the Manager since the arrival of Michel in the country. Now the management has reiterated the fact that the jobs of the coach and technical Director are safe at Cloornkop.

Let me spell this out to the Diskioff readers, Trott Moloto will be given the choice of either resigning from the Mamelodi Sundowns coaching position (With a nice package of couple thousand Rands), or taking up another role within the club's structures, and that is what is meant by his job being safe. He might be a coach of the Non-existing development side at Sundowns.

Ntate Tlhopane (Motsepe) had never hidden the fact that he was unhappy with Moloto's performance, but Sunday's defeat - which was Sundowns' second in the Absa Premiership - appears to have sealed his fate.

Michel has a wealth of experience, having coached national sides in his home country France, Morocco, Tunisia and Ivory Coast, so He would not come to SA to be a ball boy.

Mahlatse Mphahlele said, in confirming that Michel is here at Sundowns invitation, "We can confirm that Michel is in the country at the club's invitation, but nothing has been finalised".

Now let’s say Michel is hired, as a Manager and Trott remains the coach. This is what will happen. Moloto will take instruction from Michel, on how to train the team. Then Michel will be there to see to it that Moloto is executing the instructions to perfection.

Then Come match day, Michel will take over completely, and decide on who to play and everything. Then Moloto will eventually realize that He is a glorified Ball Boy and resign.
