What are our Academies doing?

Are the academies shy in producing quality strikers or SA don't have strikers at all. Ajax Cape Town seems to be one among the strongest producers of players, School of Excellence, Old mutual academy and others. The academies produced good players in recent years yet none of the players are good strikers. We all know that PSL need strikers but our academies produces lots of Midfielders than strikers.

Maybe our players lack technical discipline! Playing armature level is not like being a professional, this is where our academies comes in. it is their responsibility to train strikers, and sell them to the clubs. Most PSL strikers are from neighboring countries and West African countries.

We have strikers here eMzansi, if only the scouts can take their precious time to travel all nine provinces, there is uncovered talent there waiting to be recognised. We have good talent spotters in the likes of JOMO SONO, Mjomana is gifted in terms of spotting talent but he always go out of the country, I'm not blaming him that much as he is a businessman.

I urge the scouts and other academies to check all provinces and not wait for the rich parents to bring their kids, some kids have poor parents but that is where talent is, just have to put it in the right direction, then bang you produced stars of tomorrow. I believe the academies can do much.
