Wits take Thanda out of kraal
Roger De Sa was one happy coach after 90 minutes as his team Bidvest Wits beat Thanda Royal Zulu 1-0 in the Absa Premiership at Mpumalanga Stadium izolo (Sunday). Sifiso Myeni was the hero of the day, but this after the young man missed a number of chances to score for Wits. However, he redeemed himself when he scored the penalty that took Thanda out of the kraal.

United shock Downs again
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Trott Moloto was one angry coach as his team were beaten 2-1 by Bay United in their first PSL meeting on Sunday. David Twala opened the scoring for United, and Siboniso Gaxa of Sundowns level the scores later. However, Jimmy Zakazaka’s goal broke the hearts of Sundowns supporters as United took all three points. It’s now 2 wins out of 2 for the rookies against Sundowns.

Swallows recover to still point
Moroka Swallows fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Bloemfontein Celtic izolo (Sunday). Celtic went two goals up through Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Moses Spandeel, but couldn't hold the Dube birds. Celtic fans will be disappointed as their team failed to collect maximum points as Sawallows fought back to earn a point at home thanks to goals from Ryan Botha and Elton Morelato.

Ajax upset the champions
Ajax Cape Town beat the defending champions Supersport United 1-0 in the Absa Premiership at Athlone Stadium on Saturday. The Cape side deserved to win the game as they were the hungry team on the night. Mabhuti Khenyeza’s goal was good enough to give Ajax the victory.

Chiefs slaughter Amazulu
Kaizer Chiefs registered their third victory in the PSL after destroying helpless AmaZulu 3-0 on Saturday at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria. Amakhosi goals come from Gert Schalkwyk, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Jose Torrealba. Amakhosi supporters will be enjoying the second Monday in a row with a smile as Chiefs wins again.

Pirates defence fails yet again
Orlando Pirates wasted an opportunity to register their second win in the Absa Premiership when they draw 1-1 with Free State Stars. It was yet another bad performance from Amabhakabhaka at the Charles Mopeli Stadium. Saitjheni Tsotetsi spoiled the party for the Soweto giants as he netted a last minute goal. It seems as if Dikgang Mabalane's goal was good enough to win the game, but bad defending cost Pirates yet again.
