What a weekend in Pretoria? Super Stadium, rainy weather, and tears all over the Mamelodi Sundown fans. Well I am actually impressed with the drainage at the stadium, there was a point that I thought we will see some small dams developing in the pitch, but it held well. I was with my Sundowns buddies, and they really were not impressed. One even asked after the game as to… “What happened to the Piano and Shoe shine?”Well we need the Piano and Shoe shine back. That was good football and people liked it. Still, I honestly think that Sundowns have a great squad and with time they will be a major force to be reckoned with.
This is one free advice to Mamelodi Sundowns:
Attredgeville is a Kaizer Chiefs strong hold in terms of support. Now Mamelodi is a strong hold for Sundowns supporters. Now for the people there to go watch the Sundowns game, they have to go to town, and then connect to Attredgeville. Now its even complex when it’s a night game. By the time the game finishes, there would probably be no taxis to Mamelodi from Town.
Now if transport can be arranged from Mamelodi to the Stadium, then I tell you, Super Stadium will soon be too small for Sundowns. Well I am only saying that because I know they can afford to do that, I mean what is some few hundred bucks if they can pay Zuma and Vilakazi the big bucks they earn?
