Do you remember the days of Shane Macgregor, Fani Madida, Phil Masinga, Mark Williams, Benni McCarthy, Lesley Manyathela and etc? These were deadly strikers and goal scorers. The past 4 seasons our strikers have struggled to live up to expectation and reputation. So what is the way forward? I think its time our coaches give our Mzansi players a fair chance and let them prove themselves. One thing is for sure the Mzansi strikers have awaken and definitely this season we will have a South African top scorer. "Benni" Parker has raisen to every occasion and we must not put pressure on him or rate him amongst the best cause it will crush him, but better encourage him to work harder and harder. You know giving our players kills our players look at what’s happening to Teko Modise, Itumeleng Khune and many more. These players are not bad players, but we as supporters we rate them high and put pressure on them. I put my head on the block… a South African player will be a top scorer this season. Mzansi strikers have awakened and the best is still to come.
