People may think I am being sarcastic today but no, really I was impressed with Muhsin Ertugral this weekend, the man mustered enough strength not to blame the referee, not to call an opposition coach a donkey as well as to say his team was outplayed in fact he was so restrained even on the bench it was an incredible scene.
However he could not admit though that he was tactically outclassed, eish that could get him fired instantly. Muhsin, between you and me, you were tactically outclassed, I will help you pray that Kaizer does not visit this blog (DISKIOFF).
Things like this do happen to big teams, being walloped once in a while is good for you, and it brings you back down to earth lest you starting calling yourselves Galacticos like my Pretoria friends. At the pre-season I found Ertugral to be extremely arrogant especially after the draw against Manchester United.
This week was a complete contrast to the usual maverick we have become so used to, I bet he misses Mabuthi Khenyeza now, or asking himself why he got rid of McCarthy, maybe he is thinking I should have pursued Mbesuma, or maybe I should not have left Ajax, where to get more paraffin for Torrealba, he is contemplating what he is going to say to Kaizer in the imminent meeting.
People must however not forget that Muhsin recently won the team 8 million rands with limited resources, people must start digging in at players, those are the real donkeys, no actually I am sorry to insult donkeys, donkeys do carry their load, if you wanted to insult a donkey call it a Chiefs player, their performance was appalling, not taking anything from Arrows but really now many of these players should not be in the PSL let alone playing for Chiefs.
Lastly I enjoyed watching Senamela and Dikgacoi dominating the midfield and Henyekane tearing a million hearts, by the way, how many millions did he cost?
