Engen
Petroleum proudly brings their newly sponsored team, SuperSport United to
Bloemfontein for a one day coaching clinic.
The
top-flight Premier Soccer League team will make their way to Grey College on 15
March 2014, to conduct a youth coaching clinic prior to their open training
session at the same venue.
The
Pretoria outfit will go through their training routine at the city’s popular
school at 15h30 ahead of their clash against locals, Bloemfontein Celtic FC on
Sunday, 16 March.
The
afternoon will see players such as Bevan Fransman, Ronwen Williams, Mame Niang
and others interact with young aspiring soccer stars which will include
autograph and photo sessions before moving out onto the sport complex’s field
to hone their pre-match preparation.
Matsatsantsa
who are currently fourth on the ABSA Premiership log and go into the match
focused on securing a three point win against the ever popular Celtic side.
Head Coach Cavin Johnson is confident in his team’s current mental state after
three recent winning performances in the CAF Confederations Cup. Johnson said
they could not afford to rest on their laurels, and stressed the need to
continue their hard work, in order to maintain their present momentum and good
form.
“It’s
imperative for us to get our league campaign back on track and not relax,” says
Cavin Johnson.

have done well thus far, especially in our CAF games and we hope to bring that
same vein of form into this Sunday’s league fixture with Celtic. We are well of
what they are capable of and we hope to get a positive result.”
