Durban
football supporters are in for an exciting treat this Sunday, 9 March 2014 when
AmaZulu FC host Mamelodi Sundowns at KwaMashu’s Princess Magogo Stadium in a
bumper Absa Premiership clash, which is scheduled to kick-off at 15h30.
“This
a match we believe our beloved supporters will definitely enjoy because of the
history between the two teams.
“We
urge the whole of Durban to come out in their numbers to rally behind the team
wearing their green Usuthu apparel. There will be lots of exciting giveaways
for them,” said AmaZulu PR & Communications Manager Philani Mabaso.
AmaZulu
come into the fixture with 28 points in the bag while the visitors are sitting
on 34 points. The Tshwane based outfit are second on the log while AmaZulu are
currently occupying 6th position. The first round encounter between the two
sides saw Usuthu losing 7-1.
Tickets
for the encounter are already on sale at Computicket for R40 (adults) and R20
(children).
Marketing
Manager, Lunga Sokhela confirmed that supporters who have already bought their
tickets may still use them despite the change of venue and date.
“Newly
printed tickets will be made available at Computicket as soon as possible but
fans can still use tickets they have if they bought them earlier,” said
Sokhela.
The
following selected Spar stores in KZN will also be selling the tickets: Mega
Philani SUPERSPAR, Mega City SUPERSPAR, KwaMashu SUPERSPAR, Bridge City
SUPERSPAR, Dunbar’s SUPERSPAR & Renckens Mandeni SUPERSPAR (Siqumbe). Fans
stand a chance to win prizes worth over R10 000 just by purchasing their
