It’s
all systems go in preparation for AmaZulu FC’s all important Absa Premiership
clash against Bidvest Wits this Saturday, 15 February 2014 at Princess Magogo
Stadium.
Tickets
for this sure thriller of a match which kicks off at 18:00 have been reduced to
R30 for males as opposed to the normal R40, while tickets for females and
children will be sold for R10. The tickets are now available at Computicket.
The
Craig Rosslee-led Usuthu, who come into the match with 28 points under the
belt, face a Wits side determined to also make steady progress in their season,
having garnered 25 points in 15 matches played.
Right-back
Bongi Macala whose last involvement in front of an appreciative KwaMashu crowd
saw him finding the back of the net in their 2-1 defeat against Mpumalanga
Black Aces in August, says they will be looking to maintain their consistency
when they face the Clever Boys.
“So
far what we’ve spoken about since the last game is that Wits is a three
pointer, there’s no question about it. It is about doing whatever it takes to
get three points at Magogo.
“We’re
not going to do anything new since our last few games since we played Orlando
Pirates (opening second round match), we just have to keep working harder.
“The
confidence is there now within the team, we just have to keep doing what we’ve
been doing and then hopefully finish our chances on the day and from there
things will just fall into place,” said Macala.
Usuthu
last hosted an Absa Premiership clash at Princess Magogo against Platinum Stars
on 27 November 2013 when they beat the Royal Bafokeng side 2-0 with both goals
coming from Goodman Dlamini.
Fans
are encouraged to come out in their numbers as the Dr Patrick Sokhela owned
team look to extend their four match unbeaten streak with a win.
