The
23-year-old has joined in time for the Absa Premiership visit to Orlando
Pirates on Saturday.
Manyama
is a good footballer, a top-class player," SuperSport boss Cavin Johnson
said. "I think he will be a fantastic addition to the squad."
He
added: "We have got a lot of fixtures coming up and so we are going to
need a good squad of quality players for that, and we hope Lebo will blend it
nicely with the rest of the players we have."
Manyama
began his professional career with Ajax Cape Town where he spent three fruitful
years that saw him get a call-up into the national team. The winger netted 15
goals in 71 starts for the Urban Warriors since his arrival in Cape Town.
The
Alex-born player has attributed his decision to joining
Matsatsantsa to the brand of football the team is associated with and the man
steering the ship, Cavin Johnson.
“The
coach was a very big factor for me. He showed me from the beginning that he
really wanted me,” says Manyama.
