“Tickets for the MTN8 Semi-Final 2nd Leg match

Shoprite, Checkers and Checkers Hyper outlets nationwide. Tickets will cost
R80-00 with gates opening at 11H00. The match will be played at Orlando Stadium

R80? This is ridiculous; really really
crazy... we can't be used as cash cows in the internal issues that involve Orlando
Pirates, Premier Soccer League and Kaizer Chiefs which we know for certain that
they are the ones that let to this game being taken to Orlando Stadium instead
of the normal derby venue, FNB Stadium.
Orlando
Pirates deliberately took the game to a small capacity stadium knowing very
well that the stadium will not be able to contain the maximum demand of that match;
they persistently went on with their decision though there was an outcry from
the soccer loving people that Orlando Stadium will bring nothing less than lot
of inconveniences and security risks.
However,
the team as stubborn and arrogant as they're known to be decided to get stacked
with their poor decision, now we being made to foot the bill for the amount
they going to lose by selling just a small number of tickets as compared to if
the game was being played at FNB Stadium. They are now taking the opportunity
to milk us as they know that people cannot boycott the match of such magnitude.
The
Premier Soccer League (PSL) and MTN organizer are also to blame in this
madness, we expect PSL to have a policy, a policy that governs the entry fee to
all the matches organized under the auspices of this organization, and if that
is the case then why should Pirates be allowed to steal from the poor football
community? If PSL does not have such a policy, then PSL is failing us... R80? This
is absolute madness.
This
does not make me any less supporter of the club, but my devoted love for the
club will never make blind me to a point where I won't even be able to see when
I'm being robbed off like this.
