Stars vs Leopards tickets on sale

Platinum Stars welcome Black Leopards to the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace for their Absa Premiership clash on Saturday the 06th April  (kick-off 15h00).

Dikwena have the second-best home record in the top-flight this campaign after leaders Kaizer Chiefs, living up to the team’s pre-season promise of making their home base a ‘slaughterhouse’.

Stars have lost just one of their 11 home matches this season, an unlucky 1-0 reversal at the hands of Orlando Pirates. Nobody else has managed to leave Phokeng with a win.

They come up against a struggling Lidoda Duvha side that are battling at the wrong end of the table, desperate for points to help them in their survival bid. In contrast, Dikwena are hoping to secure a top-three place this season.

Stars supporters can purchase their tickets for the Leopards game from the following outlets: Mickey Geo Restaurant near the Rustenburg Taxi Rank, Lucky’s Pub in Phokeng, Mmamothofela Restaurant in the Phokeng Complex, Kedasa Lodge in Rasimone and they will also be sold at the stadium on a match day.

Tickets will cost R40.00 adult and R20.00 children. “We said at the start of the season that we would make the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace a slaughterhouse for visiting teams and we have lived up to that promise,” Platinum Stars Supporters Co-Ordinator & Media Relations head Aubrey Molobi said.

“This is another important fixture as seek to finish in the top three in the league and keep the players in form for our Nedbank Cup quarterfinal away at Mamelodi Sundowns on April 14.“We have just four home league matches remaining this season so we urge supporters to come out and get behind this fantastic team, who have been so entertaining through the whole campaign.

“Nobody has scored more than Dikwen’s 27 goals at home this season, with the next highest being Kaizer Chiefs with 21. That shows how attacking and entertaining this team has been.”
