The
University of Pretoria Football Club, AmaTuks have partnered with MSA Group
(Pty) Ltd in a CSI project in Bapong village on the outskirts of Brits, North
West Province.
The
project involves visiting Thlalefang Day-care centre with MSA employees and their
families to do renovations and donate equipment.
“We
are delighted to be part of such a great initiative where we assist in
affording our future leaders a space to learn.
At AmaTuks we believe in education and giving the young an opportunity
to be leading minds at the formative stage in life,” explains Karabo Molokoane,
AmaTuks Marketing Officer.
The
MSA Group initiated the project in 2010.
In 2013 they have invited AmaTuks to come on board. This partnership serves the purpose of
introducing AmaTuks to communities of Gauteng and North West. It is to become an integral part of the
AmaTuks tour to garner support for the team as it continues to participate and
perform well in the PSL.
Other
partners in the project are Addicted to Life which is a Multisport and
Lifestyle Club. They will be responsible for organising physical activities for
the day.
The
entire AmaTuks team, technical staff and management will form part of the
delegation that will visit the day care centre together with MSA employees on
the day, doing among other activities painting the ablution facilities and
working in the vegetable garden.
Pick
n’ Pay Soshanguve Plaza supported by B’eat Restaurant will sponsor the event
with refreshments. Tshwane TV and The
Tswane Gospel choir will also be present at the event.
