Celtic fans will line the streets of the Free State capital for victory parade
to celebrate the club's historic Telkom Knockout success on Monday, December
10.

Sele Sele won the Telkom Knockout for the first time on Saturday, beating
Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 at a packed Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban.
The
trophy parade will start at midday at the club’s headquarters in Bloemfontein
where the players, technical team and management will hop onto a double-decker
bus.
The
first stop will be at Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality offices where the team
will meet with mayor Thabo Manyoni and his executive at 12h10. The parade will
then move to MTN offices at 12h30, Telkom offices at 12h40, Old Mutual offices
at 13h10 – before heading to Lebohang Building where the club will present the
trophy to Premier Ace Magashule and his cabinet at 13h30.
From
there, the parade will proceed through Markgraaff Street and turn left at Louis
Botha to Church Street, and then turn left at Spar Supermarket – before heading
for Mangaung.
In
Manguang, the bus will go past Batho Police Station and move up to Maphisa
Street, Moshoeshoe Street, Chief Moroka Street, Medet, MoGreek and Anna
Magerman, Nic Molosioa Shopping Complex, Maleleka Street and Boikhuco.
The
last stop will be at Hoffman Square in the city centre late in the afternoon.
Khumbulani
Konco, Celtic CEO, says it is important the champions share this moment with
those who stand by the team through thick and thin.
"We
appeal to all our supporters to come and stand along the route that the bus
will be taking. We want to display the trophy to them. It is important for us
to take the cup to the people who always rally behind the club,” Konco says.
“We
are duty-bound to go out there and celebrate with our fans because we value
their support." he adds.
