Football
fans are in for a treat come Saturday during the mouth-watering MTN8 Final
between Moroka Swallows and SuperSport United.
Sponsors MTN and the PSL have
lined up award-winning musicians for the day including kwaito artist Professor,
legendary dance outfit Trompies, House DJ’s Oskido and Zinhle together with
Black Motion and Soweto’s Finest, as some of the acts that will provide
entertainment at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday night.
The
renowned local artists and DJs will provide the music extravaganza in the
build-up to the 8:15pm kickoff. Gates open 5pm.
Outside
of the music, the presence of the Y’ello Dome which has been seen across all
stadiums throughout the tournament to create fun and entertainment for the fans
and allow for brand interaction will be again be available for access inside
the stadium for the MTN8 Final. Importantly, the first 10 000 fans to arrive
early at the stadium will receive free –t-shirts and sporties.
Fans
that will be in and around the Y’ello Dome will have an opportunity to compete
in a Spin and Win competition run by MTN roaming promoters with portable LCD
screens. With 100 Y’ello Seats made available at the Orlando Stadium fans stand
a chance to win a Yello seat upgrade from their general match ticket which will
enable one fan and friend to watch the match from the beast seats at the
stadium.
Once
upgraded to the Y’ello Seats, fans will receive an MTN hamper, MTN8 clothing,
food and refreshments. Besides the music and various other entertainment
elements on the day, in a first for a football competition in the country, from
today until Friday night (6pm – 6am), MTN will create magical presence with the
visual projection technology with animations detailing the MTN8 Final match
information at Orlando Stadium.
